摘要: An unloader valve assembly includes a cylindrical housing defining an annular space, an inner wall thereof including a port that enables fluid communication between the annular space and a location outside the inner wall of the housing. A mandrel having a tubular configuration is positioned inside the housing, the mandrel defining a central bore for receiving fluid and includes a mandrel port enabling fluid communication between the central bore and the annular space. A piston encircling the mandrel is movable along an axis defined by the central bore. A spring is situated between the inner wall of the housing and the mandrel and movable between an extended configuration urging the piston downwardly and a compressed configuration being urged upwardly by the piston.

In certain embodiments, the methods comprise: providing an enhanced treatment fluid that comprises at least a base fluid and one or more contrast enhancement agents, which may include dielectric materials, magnetic materials, dispersive materials, and/or any combination thereof; and introducing the enhanced treatment fluid into at least a portion of a well bore penetrating a portion of a subterranean formation in the course of certain operations in the well bore.

摘要: Methods and systems are presented in this disclosure for performing multi-frequency communications during wellbore operations. Communication of data related to a state of a wellbore (e.g., characteristics and/or locations of one or more fluids flowing along a casing in the wellbore during a cementing operation) can be performed simultaneously or sequentially involving a plurality of nodes located along the casing in the wellbore, wherein each of the nodes is configured to use a different frequency for communication. In this way, a higher information throughput and more reliable communication can be achieved during wellbore operations.

摘要: Drilling fluid compositions include a base fluid, at least one additive chosen from an emulsifier, weighting material, fluid-loss additive, viscosifier, or alkali compound, and from 0.1 wt. % to 1 wt. %, based on total weight of the drilling fluid composition, of an ethoxylated alcohol compound having the formula R—(OCH2CH2)7—OH, in which R is a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched hydrocarbyl group having from 8 to 20 carbon atoms. The base fluid may be an aqueous base fluid. Methods for drilling a subterranean well include operating a drill in a wellbore in the presence of a drilling fluid composition including the base fluid, the additive, and the ethoxylated alcohol compound.
