    Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards managing mobile searches by enabling a user to indicate a context of a search query to narrow a scope of the search. A user may fine tune a search by selecting from a plurality of pre-defined contexts for which to perform a search query. In one embodiment, the user may combine two or more pre-defined contexts to create more complex contexts for use in customized context search queries. The user also enters one or more search terms. A subset of databases is selected from a plurality of databases associated with different subject categories. The subset of databases is selected as predefined by an operator based on the user's context, and searched based on the user's entered search terms and selected context. Results are then aggregated and provided to the user. Results may be rank ordered based on the given user context or user's previous search behavior.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for obtaining ad-hoc the spatial layout and setup of installed radio-based indoor tracking systems at particular locations. The systems and methods can be implemented via an installed or web-based application that performs the ad-hoc detection of indoor beacons, which includes detecting the signal strength of all beacons at a location while the user performs a previously configured gesture. From the trajectory of the gesture and the recorded signal strengths, the disclosed systems and methods derive the distance and direction of all beacons, which are laid out in a 2D map. Thus, the present disclosure can implicitly calibrate signal strengths to high-accuracy distances, thereby producing the spatially accurate 2D setup of the previously unknown space, in addition to indoor tracking on a decimeter level, which is efficient and increasingly cost effective for device tracking and advertising purposes.

    Abstract: A real-time asynchronous event aggregation system, method, and network device are configured to capture real-time asynchronous events, and to pass them as input to one or more aggregation engines to determine a reputation for a target.     Abstract: A method of modifying an Internet browser interface to provide shopping assistant functionality facilitating on-line shopping at a supported merchant Internet site. A wallet created in accordance with the present invention comprises a database having various user data stored therein under certain predetermined field names. A supported merchant data file identifies a plurality of supported merchants and enables the modified browser interface to determine when a shopper has navigated to a supported merchant web site. For each supported merchant, a rules and mapping file is created that may be used in connection with the wallet to map user-provided information in the wallet to corresponding fields in the merchant's check-out web page. When a user navigates to a supported merchant web site and desires to purchase merchandise and/or services from that merchant, the wallet automatically fills out the merchant's check-out web page(s), thereby simplifying on-line shopping and particularly, the check-out process.
