    Abstract: The present disclosure provides techniques for preamble puncturing in wireless local area networks (WLANs). In one implementation, an access point (AP) can identify, within a channel width, one or more bandwidth regions associated with incumbent technologies. The AP can broadcast or advertise, to a basic service set (BSS) initiated or started by the AP, a preamble puncture pattern in one or more management frames, the preamble puncture pattern being based on the bandwidth regions associated with incumbent technologies. In another implementation, an AP can identify a single user (SU) preamble puncture transmission, and can signal in a common portion of a SIG-B field of a multi-user (MU) PPDU format that a resource unit (RU) size is assigned to a same user to indicate the SU preamble puncture transmission. Although these techniques may be used in any frequency band, typical frequency bands may include, but are not limited to, a 2.4 GHz band, a 5 GHz band, and/or a 6 GHz band.

    Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer-readable medium for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, an apparatus allocates dedicated sets of pilot tones within symbols to a plurality of stations to enable per station phase drift tracking from symbol to symbol. Each station of the plurality of stations is allocated a dedicated set of pilot tones for transmitting dedicated single stream pilots to enable the apparatus to perform per station phase drift tracking from symbol to symbol. The apparatus transmits a frame to the plurality of stations.     Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for managing long low-density parity check (LDPC) codewords in ultra high reliability (UHR) systems. One method for wireless communication may be performable at a transmitter device or node. The method may include transmitting signaling to a receiver device or node indicating that the transmitter device supports use of a first LDPC codeword length that is greater than or equal to a threshold LDPC codeword length. The method may further include transmitting an LDPC codeword of the first LDPC codeword length (e.g., a long LDPC codeword) to the receiver device when one or more conditions are satisfied.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for interpreting reserved bits and values associated with different releases of a wireless communication protocol. In some implementations, a wireless communication device may determine whether to terminate or continue reception of a physical layer protocol convergence protocol (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) if it detects a reserved bit in the physical layer preamble set to an unsupported value (such as a value different than what is defined by a version or release of the wireless communication protocol supported by the wireless communication device). In some other implementations, a wireless communication device may determine whether to terminate or continue reception of a PPDU if it detects a field in the physical layer preamble set to a reserved value (such as defined by a version or release of the wireless communication protocol supported by the wireless communication device).

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for techniques for reducing feedback information in an extremely high throughput (EHT) wireless local area network (WLAN). A receiving device (beamformee), such as a station (STA), may receive a sounding signal from a transmitting device (beamformer), such as an access point (AP), and transmit channel feedback. The receiving device may transmit the channel feedback as part of a reduced compressed beamforming feedback (CBF) operation that includes determining a first set of channel characteristics. The receiving device may select a subset of the first set of channel characteristics and determine a set of differential characteristics based on the subset. The transmitting device may then transmit the sets of characteristics as reduced CBF to the transmitting device. The transmitting device may determine a channel estimation for beamformed signaling based on the reduced CBF.
