摘要: The present application relates to an endoscope apparatus including a shaft component with a proximal end and a distal end. The shaft component is arranged in an outer shaft. The endoscopy apparatus includes an image capture device having an objective lens for generating a real image and an image sensor for capturing the image and generating an image signal. The endoscopy apparatus includes a pivot joint device which couples the image capture device to the shaft component in a manner pivotable about two orthogonal axes but rigid in respect of a rotation about the longitudinal axis of the shaft component. The endoscopy apparatus includes a pivot control device to set a pivot position of the image capture device relative to the shaft component which depends on the rotational position of the image capture device and the shaft component relative to the outer shaft.

摘要: This disclosure is generally directed to systems and methods for detecting distracted driving. In an example method, a light source identification procedure may be executed for detecting a first device present inside a vehicle and outside a field of view of a driver monitoring camera (such as upon a dashboard). The procedure can include evaluating an image data sample obtained from the driver monitoring camera so as to identify various devices that may be emitting light incident upon the face of the driver. The incident light may include a first pulse pattern corresponding to light emitted by the first device and a second pulse pattern corresponding to light emitted by a second device. The first device can be detected in various ways such as by evaluating a phase relationship between the first pulse pattern and the second pulse pattern and/or by evaluating spectral content present in the image data sample.

摘要: Exemplary embodiments described in this disclosure generally pertain to systems and methods to handle packages transported in a delivery vehicle. In an example embodiment, a computer that is provided in a vehicle receives a command related to delivery of a package. The command may be associated, for example, with rerouting of the vehicle due to various reasons such as, for example, due to a change in a delivery schedule and/or a delivery priority. The computer may respond to the command by operating an unmanned package moving apparatus to move the package from one location in a cargo area of the vehicle to another location in the cargo area while the vehicle is in motion and prior to the vehicle reaching a delivery destination for the package. In an example implementation, the unmanned package moving apparatus includes a bed of rollers that are operated by servomotors under control of the computer.
