    Abstract: The invention relates to a friction assembly (1) comprising a first component (5) and a second component (8) and a plurality of inner discs (2) and a plurality of outer discs (3), wherein the inner discs (2) are arranged on the first component (5) and the outer disc (3) are arranged on the second component (8) and the inner discs (2) and the outer discs (3) are arranged alternately in axial direction (4), and wherein between the inner discs (2) and the outer discs (3) respectively at least one freely rotational friction ring (11) is arranged which has an opening (29) with an inner diameter (14), and wherein the inner disc (2) and/or the outer disc (3) can be adjusted relative to one another to form a friction connection with the friction rings (11) in axial direction (4). The freely rotating friction rings (11) are guided in the region of the inner diameter (14) on the first component (5).

    Abstract: A drive device for a construction machine, which includes a speed reducer and a brake mechanism, wherein the speed reducer has a casing in which lubricating oil and the brake mechanism are provided, and wherein the brake mechanism includes: a ring-shaped brake piston; and a brake plate configured to generate a braking force by a pressing force of the brake piston, and wherein the brake piston has: a plurality of oil pockets provided in the brake piston at respective positions along a circumferential direction of the brake piston, each of the oil pockets formed as a space capable of storing lubricating oil; oil inlets allowing lubricating oil rising during operation of the drive device to be introduced into the oil pockets respectively; and oil outlets allowing lubricating oil stored in the respective oil pockets to be discharged.

    Abstract: A rotational coupling device is configured for vertical orientation. The device includes a hub disposed about a rotational axis. A rotor is supported on, and configured for rotation about, the hub and defines a radially extending wall. An armature is supported on the hub for rotation therewith and axially spaced from the wall. Clutch plates are disposed between the rotor wall and armature and rotatably coupled to the rotor or armature. A field shell is disposed on an opposite side of the rotor wall from the armature and houses a conductor. The armature and clutch plates move in a first axial direction towards the rotor wall when the conductor is energized and in a second axial direction when the conductor is subsequently deenergized. At least one of the hub and rotor defines means for limiting movement of a corresponding one of the clutch plates in the second axial direction.
