    摘要: A mechanical seal includes rotating seal ring which rotate with a rotary shaft, stationary seal rings, and an adaptor which holds the stationary seal rings, the adaptor being fixed to a seal cover by bolts. The mechanical seal further includes a plurality of holders brought into contact with the adapter and provided with through holes. A body part of each of the bolts passes through each of the through holes and is screwed into each of threaded holes formed in the seal cover. The plurality of holders being arranged so as to surround the rotary shaft.

    摘要: The disclosure concerns an applicator (e.g. print head) for applying a coating agent (e.g. paint) to a component (e.g. motor vehicle body component), having a nozzle chamber with a plurality of nozzles for dispensing the coating agent in the form of continuous jets or droplets, the coating agent flowing during operation through the nozzle chamber to the nozzles so that the nozzle chamber is filled with the coating agent during operation. The print head further comprises a plurality of slidable valve needles associated with the individual nozzles and selectively opening or closing the respective nozzle depending on the position of the valve needles. Furthermore, the print head according to the disclosure contains an actuator chamber for receiving actuators for displacing the valve needles. In addition, the applicator according to the disclosure has a sealing element which fluidically separates the actuator chamber from the nozzle chamber in order to avoid contamination of the actuator chamber with the coating agent in the nozzle chamber. The disclosure provides that the sealing element is designed such that the individual valve needles can be displaced independently of one another without a displacement of one of the valve needles impairing the opening and closing of the nozzles at the adjacent valve needle.

    摘要: There is disclosed a motor mount apparatus for coupling a pump body of a fluid pump assembly to a rotational power source (e.g. motor). The apparatus provides a plurality of seals and retaining seal members within a motor mount assembly to cooperate to seal the interior of the apparatus and prevent contaminants such as grit to enter into the interior of the motor mount assembly and subsequently into either the pump body or the power source. The retaining seal member comprises a seal and is fittedly engaged within the motor mount assembly surrounding a shaft coupler. Disposed between the shaft coupler and the shaft is a second seal for cooperating with the seal of the retaining seal member to block external contaminants from entering past the retaining seal member into the housing while containing lubricants on the interior facing side of the retaining seal member.
