    Abstract: A social game capable of adding or improving unexpectedness, dramatic impact, and taste when a reward is provided to a player, and hence capable of raising the player's motivation to participate in or continue the game. A unit for storing information related to a game in which multiple players can participate stores a reward providing condition, rewards, and reward box information, and a control unit for accessing information related to the game, performing computation on the game, and displaying images of the game on terminal devices operated by players allocates at least one reward out of the rewards to the reward box, determines whether the reward providing condition is met based on match-up situations or match-up results between players and first game characters in the game, and displays, on the terminal devices, a screen for providing the reward to players based on the determination results.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to migrating the in-memory state of a containerized application to a destination node. A processing device may transmit an availability request to each of one or more nodes and identify a destination node to which a container is to be migrated based on a response from each of the one or more nodes indicating resources available to provision a replica of the container. The processing device may determine whether the destination node comprises a replica of each base layer of a set of base layers of the container and if not, transmit a replica of each base layer the destination node is missing to the destination node. A snapshot of the container may be acquired and the set of base layers may be removed from the snapshot to generate a replica of the in-memory layer, which may be transmitted to the destination node.

Exemplary implementations may: create an asset that includes and/or refers to a set of in-game instructions provided by a first user of the online gaming platform; receive a request, from a second user of the online gaming platform, for execution of the set of in-game instructions to facilitate a first transformation of one or more particular in-game assets; perform a first verification whether the second user owns the asset; and transform the one or more particular in-game assets into one or more particular transformed and/or new in-game assets in accordance with the set of in-game instructions and the request for the first transformation, responsive to the first verification verifying that the second user owns the asset.

    Abstract: A system in which players participate as characters in a virtual game world via game clients executing on client devices. An observer mode is provided that enables users to navigate in the game world without requiring a game client so that a user can navigate the game world while not actively playing the game. When a user accesses the game in observer mode, a view of the game world is rendered from the viewpoint of an observer's character; the observer's character may not correspond to a character in the game and the observer's character may not be visible to the players in the game. The rendered view of the game world is streamed to a viewing application on a personal device. Navigation inputs allow the observer's character to move freely within the game world.

    Abstract: A method for managing a multi-user animation platform is disclosed. A three-dimensional space within a computer memory is modeled. An avatar of a client is located within the three-dimensional space, the avatar being graphically represented by a three-dimensional figure within the three-dimensional space. The avatar is responsive to client input commands, and the three-dimensional figure includes a graphical representation of client activity. The client input commands are monitored to determine client activity. The graphical representation of client activity is then altered according to an inactivity scheme when client input commands are not detected. Following a predetermined period of client inactivity, the inactivity scheme varies non-repetitively with time.

    Abstract: A user-activity video signal can be received. The user-activity video signal can comprise a video capture characterizing a user's interaction with a software application on a client. The software application can have an interface display space on the client and the software application can execute on the client in operation with at least one remote backend computing system. Backend user interaction data corresponding to the user's interaction with the software application as generated by the at least one remote backend computing system can be received. A new video comprising a plurality of divided segments of the user-activity video signal can be generated automatically using the backend user interaction data and a plurality of predefined rules.
