摘要: An equalization method has been developed for low latency, low bandwidth wireless communication channel environments. With this method, an exact copy, nearly exact copy, or some facsimile of a message (or associated information), which was transmitted via a low latency, low bandwidth wireless communication channel, is also sent via a backend communication channel such as a fiber optic network. Equalization is generally performed by comparing the originally received message to the copy sent via the backend channel. The original message can incorporate an added channel delay to compensate for the time delay between the primary wireless channel and the backend channel.

摘要: Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for reestablishing a backhaul connection due a failed connection. According to some embodiments, a system can comprise detecting a failure in a backhaul communication link between a first node device and a second node device, wherein the second node device is communicatively connected to a core network device of a core network, selecting a new node device, other than the first node device and the second node device, that is communicatively connected to the core network device for establishment of a new backhaul communication link to replace the backhaul communication link, and establishing a connection with the new node device to provide a backhaul communication link failure indication to a controller and to request the controller to provide resources to establish the new backhaul communication link with the new node device.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless repeater may communicate with multiple base stations, and the wireless repeater may identify a first base station as a primary base station. The wireless repeater may monitor for and receive control information from the primary base station, where the control information may include control information from a second base station and used by the wireless repeater to communicate with one or more UEs connected to the second base station. The primary base station may receive an indication of the control information from the second base station via a backhaul link. In other examples, the wireless repeater may monitor for control information from the two or more base stations based on a control signaling pattern. For example, the wireless repeater may be configured with periodic time intervals for monitoring for control signaling from respective base stations.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for leveraging a resource management protocol under an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) framework for power savings. In some aspects, a first node (such as an IAB node) may receive resource management information from a second node (such as an IAB donor). The resource management information may indicate an unavailable type of resource management configuration for the first resource associated with the first node. The first node may schedule a power save mode during the first resource having the unavailable type of resource management configuration for power savings. The first resource may be a time domain resource, a frequency domain resource, or a spatial domain resource. In some aspects, the first node may restrict both non-exempt and exempt communications during the first resource when the first node is in the power save mode.

摘要: A technique for implementing AP-local dynamic switching involves Layer 2 switching. This may be accomplished by providing data associated with wireless stations to an AP sufficient to enable the AP to determine whether traffic from a particular wireless station should be locally switched. Alternatively, the wireless station may be able to determine whether to locally switch traffic based upon the traffic itself. For example, it may be desirable to AP-locally switch voice traffic to avoid latency, which is particularly detrimental to voice transmissions such as voiceover-IP. Traffic that is not to be switched locally is Layer 2 tunneled upstream.

Some embodiments are directed to an apparatus in an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) node. The apparatus includes processor circuitry and radio front circuitry. The radio front end circuitry can be configured to receive, from a second IAB node, a slot format indicator (SFI). The SFI can include a slot format entry including a soft symbol indicating availability of a soft resource. The processor circuitry can be configured to use the slot format entry to communicate with a third IAB node, different from the second IAB node, using the soft resource as indicated by the soft symbol.

摘要: A system and method for call selection and migration in a NG-CU over NGRAN is disclosed. The system and method comprises a CP VNFC assigning a call initiated by a user to a source user plane VNFC. A management VNFC detects an overload traffic condition upon receiving the assigned call by the source user plane VNFC from the CP VNFC. The source user plane VNFC selects the call to be migrated with a higher migration preference value to another VNFC and signals CP VNFC to initiate call migration. The CP VNFC then migrates the selected call through at least one GTP tunnel to a target user plane VNFC. The source user plane VNFC then forwards the target user plane VNFC a request to handle complete trafficking of the migrated call.
