摘要: A method and a system for image-guided intervention such as a percutaneous treatment or diagnosis of a patient may include at least one of a pre-registration method and a re-registration method. The pre-registration method is configured to permit for an efficient virtual representation of a planned trajectory to target tissue during the intervention, for example, as a holographic light ray shown through an augmented reality system. In turn, this allows the operator to align a physical instrument such as a medical probe for the intervention. The re-registration method is configured to adjust for inaccuracy in the virtual representation generated by the pre-registration method, as determined by live imaging of the patient during the intervention. The re-registration method may employ the use of intersectional contour lines to define the target tissue as viewed through the augmented reality system, which permits for an unobstructed view of the target tissue for the intervention.

摘要: A method of administering insulin includes receiving glucose measurements of a patient at a data processing device from a continuous glucose monitoring system. The glucose measurements are separated by a time interval. The method also includes receiving patient information at the data processing device and selecting a subcutaneous insulin treatment from a collection of subcutaneous insulin treatments. The selection is based on the glucose measurements and the patient information. The selection includes one or more of a subcutaneous standard program, a subcutaneous program without meal boluses, a meal-by-meal subcutaneous program without carbohydrate counting, a meal-by-meal subcutaneous program with carbohydrate counting, and a subcutaneous program for non-diabetic patients. The method also includes executing, using the data processing device, the selected subcutaneous insulin treatment.

摘要: A spatially sensitive augmented reality system for providing resuscitative feedback in a mixed reality environment to an acute care provider during occurrence of a cardiac event in a patient includes a wearable augmented reality device having at least one three-dimensional sensor, a visual display for viewing by the acute care provider, and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to receive and process three-dimensional information of a scene of the cardiac event; produce a three-dimensional representation of a field of view of the acute care provider based on the processed three-dimensional information; identify one or more physical objects associated with the cardiac event in the three-dimensional representation; generate at least one virtual three-dimensional object within the three-dimensional representation; and generate an image of the virtual three-dimensional object within the three-dimensional representation on the visual display.

摘要: Guided relay infusion systems and methods are provided. The guided relay system may be a portion of an infusion pump that can simultaneously deliver a medical fluid from two syringes. When a first one of the syringes is running out of the medical fluid and a second one of the syringes is more full of the medical fluid than the first one of the syringes, guided relay messages are provided for a relay handoff from the first one of the syringes to the second one of the syringes that ensures a smooth continuous delivery of more of the medical fluid than the first one of the syringes holds.

摘要: Holographic image-guidance can be used to track an interventional device during an endovascular percutaneous procedure. The holographic image guidance can be provided by a head-mounted device by transforming tracking data and vasculature image data to a common coordinate system and creating a holographic display relative to a patient's vasculature to track the interventional device during the endovascular percutaneous procedure. The holographic display can also include graphics to provide guidance for the physical interventional device as it travels through the patient's anatomy (e.g., the vasculature).

摘要: An apparatus has a receiver that receives a biological response of a user to an event that occurs during a user experience. Further, the apparatus has a memory that stores one or more predefined criteria that indicate an expected biological response to the event. In addition, the apparatus has a processor that compares the biological response to the one or more predefined criteria and adjusts the user experience based at least upon the biological response failing to meet the one or more predefined criteria.
