摘要： A V-ribbed belt that includes a ribbed surface covered with fabric is provided. The fabric is stretchable in two predetermined directions. A method for manufacturing the V-ribbed belt is also provided. The method includes placing a belt matrix about a mandrel, placing a fabric about the external circumference of the belt matrix which wraps around the mandrel, placing the mandrel inside a shell having a plurality of grooves on the internal circumference, expanding the belt matrix and the fabric toward the internal circumference of the shell and thus pressing the fabric onto the internal circumference having the multi-ribbed structure, and curing the belt matrix with the fabric. The fabric is stretchable to accommodate itself to the multi-ribbed structure.

摘要： A method for producing a resin composition, including the steps of melt-kneading a raw material A containing a polylactic acid resin, a crystal nucleating agent, and a plasticizer containing an ester compound formed between a polycarboxylic acid having a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 7 carbon atoms and a mono-alcohol having a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 7 carbon atoms, to prepare a polylactic acid-containing melt-kneaded mixture having a relative crystallinity of 70% or more (step A); and further melt-kneading the polylactic acid-containing melt-kneaded mixture obtained by the step A and a raw material B containing a polypropylene resin and a compatibilizing agent (step B). The resin composition obtainable by the method of the present invention can be suitably used in various industrial applications, such as daily sundries, household electric appliance parts, and automobile parts.

摘要： It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for recording information in an optical recording medium with a good direct overwriting characteristic. The method for recording information in an optical recording medium according to the present invention forms record marks in a recording layer containing a phase change material by modulating the power of a laser beam between a plurality of power levels including a recording power Pw, an erasing power Pe and ground power Pb. The erasing power Pe is set to a level within a region where a reflection coefficient of a region between neighboring record marks approaches a reflection coefficient of the record mark as the erasing power Pe increases. As a result, a good overwriting characteristic can be obtained when data are recorded at a high linear velocity.

Furthermore, the wet friction material is manufactured by impregnating a base material with the resin for wet friction materials.

Further, the invention provides a heat shrinkable film and a heat shrinkable multilayer film suitable for drink container packaging, cap seals and the like, using such a block copolymer or the hydrogenated product thereof. The invention provides a block copolymer having a weight ratio of a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and a conjugated diene of 60/40 to 90/10 and a number average molecular weight measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) of 30,000 to 500,000, wherein the vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon constituting the block copolymer has a block rate of from 10 to 90% by weight, the vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon polymer blocks constituting the block copolymer have a peak molecular weight within the molecular weight range of 5,000 to 30,000, and 40 to 80% by weight of the vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon polymer blocks have a molecular weight of 35,000 or less.
