摘要: A vehicle includes an internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine includes an exhaust passage, and a filter for collecting particulate matter contained in the exhaust gas. The vehicle includes a cooling fan for circulating air around a radiator and the filter. A control device of the vehicle executes an accumulated amount calculation process for calculating a particulate matter accumulated amount. The control device executes a regeneration process under a condition that the particulate matter accumulated amount exceeds a specified amount. The regeneration process is a process for regenerating the filter when the particulate matter collected on the filter is combusted. The control device executes a fan drive process for driving the cooling fan. When the regeneration process is being executed, the control device executes the fan drive process regardless of a coolant temperature under a condition that a vehicle speed is smaller than a specified speed.

摘要: A method includes calculating whether a quantity of the PMs accumulated in a PF is at or above a risk level at which damage to the PF is caused when reproducing the PF, calculating a driving condition index by accumulating a weighting factor for a driving condition under which there is a likelihood of causing the damage to the PF, when the amount of accumulated PMs is at or above the risk level; calculating a temperature index in accordance with a temperature of the PF and a PM index in accordance with the quantity of the accumulated PMs when the quantity of the accumulated PMs is at or above the risk level; calculating a degradation condition index considering the driving condition index, the temperature of the PF, and the quantity of accumulated PMs; and changing a reproduction periodicity of the PF according to the degradation condition index.

摘要: Provided is a control device configured to be able to execute, in an engine which includes a DOC, a DPF, and a temperature increase unit including an exhaust throttle valve, for increasing a temperature of each of the DOC and the DPF, a forced regeneration process of removing PM deposited on the DPF by increasing the temperature of the DPF. The control device includes a flow rate estimation part configured to estimate an intake flow rate of a combustion gas sent into a cylinder of the engine. The flow rate estimation part is configured to estimate a first intake flow rate, which is the intake flow rate in the forced regeneration process, from an opening degree of the exhaust throttle valve and a first state amount which indicates an operation state of the engine including a rotation speed of the engine, based on a first relationship representing a relationship between the first intake flow rate, and the opening degree of the exhaust throttle valve and the first state amount, in the forced regeneration process.

摘要: A method for cleaning a particulate matter filter is discussed. The particulate filter can include an inlet and an outlet, where the outlet includes openings to a plurality of outlet channels, and the inlet includes openings to a plurality of inlet channels. The outlet channels and the inlet channels are separated by a filer barrier. A fluid nozzle is positioned in contact with the outlet of the particulate filter over a first set of outlet channels. Fluid form the fluid nozzle is injected into the first set of outlet channels. While injecting the fluid, the position of the fluid nozzle is changed such that the fluid nozzle is positioned over a second set of outlet channels.

摘要: An exhaust gas cleaning system includes a particle filter device comprising a casing, plural hollow ceramic filter rods arranged at least partly inside a gas passage of the casing, and a gas inlet and gas outlet. The particle filter device guides exhaust gas from the gas inlet, through the gas passage and to the gas outlet. The particle filter device further comprises a perforated plate extending at least partly along the filter rods and partly blocking an exhaust gas flow path from the gas inlet to the gas passage. The perforated plate defines openings allowing exhaust gas to flow into the gas passage. The filter rods are gas permeable to allow exhaust gas to penetrate, during filtration, a respective wall of the filter rods and flow into the filter rods. A respective open upper end of the filter rods communicates with the gas outlet so exhaust gas leaves the casing.

摘要: An engine system includes an internal combustion engine having an engine block with one or more piston-cylinder arrangements communicating with an intake manifold and an exhaust manifold, a charge air passageway to the intake manifold, and an exhaust gas passageway that receives exhaust gas from the exhaust manifold. The engine system also includes one or more turbochargers each including a compressor to compress charge air and output the compressed charge air to the charge air passageway and a turbine that receives exhaust gas from the exhaust gas passageway and drives the compressor in response to the exhaust gas passing through the turbine. An air pump is positioned downstream of the compressor that supplies a portion of the compressed charge air into the exhaust gas passageway upstream of the turbine, such that the turbine receives both exhaust gas and compressed charge air.

摘要: A fuel reforming system includes a fuel injection device capable of injecting fuel into an EGR passage, a reforming catalyst provided in the EGR passage, an oxidation catalyst provided in the vicinity of the reforming catalyst in the EGR, and an air supply device that supplies air to the EGR passage. When clogging occurs in the reforming catalyst and a temperature of the reforming catalyst is less than a first temperature, air is supplied to the EGR passage by the air supply device, and fuel is injected by the fuel injection device. When clogging occurs in the reforming catalyst and the temperature of the reforming catalyst is greater than or equal to the first temperature, air is supplied to the EGR passage by the air supply device, and fuel injection of the fuel injection device is stopped.

摘要: A hybrid vehicle controller includes processing circuitry configured to execute a particulate matter (PM) deposition amount estimation process that estimates a deposition amount of PM deposited in the filter. The processing circuitry is configured to switch between a first mode and a second mode as a control mode that defines control of the engine and the motor. A use of the engine is limited in the first mode as compared with the second mode. The processing circuitry is configured to execute a display process that notifies a user that the filter needs to be regenerated when the control mode is the second mode if the estimated deposition amount is greater than or equal to a predetermined amount, and not to execute the display process when the control mode is the first mode even if the deposition amount is greater than or equal to the predetermined amount.
