    摘要: Disclosed are a method and apparatus for transmitting a frame. A method for transmitting a frame in a wireless LAN comprises the steps of: an STA receiving an uplink transmission trigger frame from an access point (AP), wherein the uplink transmission trigger frame triggers the transmission of an uplink frame of an STA on an overlapping time resource, and triggers the transmission of one other uplink frame of at least one other STA; the STA transmitting the uplink frame to the access point (AP) through an allocated uplink transmission resource; and the STA performing a backoff process based on channel access parameters, which have been determined according to the success of the uplink frame transmission.

    摘要: In an example of wireless communications, an access point (AP) may send a first trigger frame to multiple stations. In response, some or all of the stations may transmit their respective uplink frames to the AP. The uplink frames may include status information of the stations such as buffered data size. The AP may send a second trigger frame, including resource allocation assignments to inform stations which sub-bands may be used to send their payloads to the AP. The AP may allocate sub-bands to stations based on the status information of the station. The AP may allocate a relatively narrow sub-band to one or more stations when the status information is not known to the AP. Status information may be provided in certain control fields of a data frame. Random access may be provided by assigning a sub-band to multiple stations. Other methods, apparatus, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

An access point that shares a wireless channel with a plurality of access points to carry out communication is provided with a function for determining, based on information contained in a polling communication signal or a broadcast signal transmitted from another access point, an access point (preceding AP) that is to perform polling communication immediately before the own station to form a group within which the order of the polling communication is determined, and after determining that a polling communication period of the preceding AP has ended, starting the polling communication period of the own station in a wireless network.
