Abstract: Embodiments of the present application relate to methods and apparatuses for a transmission reception point (TRP) related beam failure detection and recovery procedures under a 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) 5G system or the like. According to an embodiment of the present application, a method can be performed by a user equipment (UE) and include: receiving, from a serving cell, configuration information related to at least one transmission reception point (TRP) of the serving cell; detecting a beam failure of a TRP; and triggering a beam failure recovery (BFR) procedure, wherein the BFR procedure includes transmitting a BFR request to the serving cell, and wherein the BFR request includes information per TRP associated with the at least one TRP of the serving cell. If the configuration information is related to at least two TRPs of the serving cell, before transmitting the BFR request, the UE may detect a further beam failure of a further TRP. The UE may trigger a further BFR procedure.

Abstract: A feedback method and apparatus which are used to provide a feedback mechanism in a sidelink communications system, and may be applied to the internet of vehicles, for example, V2X, LTE-V, and V2V. The method includes: a first terminal device determines that a feedback condition is met, and sends feedback information to a second terminal device, where the feedback information includes at least one of channel state information and a receive response, and the receive response includes a positive acknowledgment, a negative acknowledgment, or discontinuous transmission. In this way, the feedback condition is set, so that the first terminal device sends the feedback information only when the feedback condition is met. In this way, resource overheads and information redundancy that are caused when each terminal device in a communication group sends feedback information are effectively avoided.

Abstract: A communication protocol provides diversity in UL and DL between a headset and a host device that transmits right and left audio data on separate channels. Each ear piece establishes an independent channel to the host device, and there is another channel between them. Each ear piece monitors not only its own channel to the host, but also the other ear piece's channel to the host. One ear piece may acknowledge the host device for a correctly received packet, which the other ear piece missed, on the other ear piece's channel to the host device, avoiding retransmissions. The eavesdropped data is provided to the other ear piece on the shared channel, providing for path diversity in DL. The ear pieces may exchange picked-up voice content to send to the host device, providing for path diversity in UL.

Abstract: Example techniques for data retransmission in systems that do not utilize explicit hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback are presented, including an example method by a wireless device that includes starting a timer for a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process associated with a transport block (TB) transmission by the wireless device to the network node. The method includes identifying a HARQ policy for the HARQ process, the HARQ policy governing whether the wireless device is to retransmit the TB or transmit a new TB where no HARQ feedback responsive to the TB transmission is received from the network node before the timer expires. Furthermore, the method includes retransmitting the TB or transmitting the new TB according to the HARQ policy at a next periodic transmission occasion for the HARQ process after the timer expires. Methods at a network node and related apparatuses and computer programs are also presented.
