    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of signaling reduction at handover of an IAB node. The method including sending, from a first device to a second device, a request message for a handover from the first device to the second device for a third device, the request message including a first cell configuration of the third device associated with the first device; receiving, from the second device, a response message acknowledging to the request, the response message including a resource configuration for a connection between the third device and the second device and a second cell configuration of the third device associated with the second device and sending the resource configuration to the third device. In this way, the signal overhead for the handover of an IAB node may be reduced significantly.

    Abstract: Indication of delivery-path information may benefit various communication systems. For example, wireless communication systems may benefit from per-protocol data unit delivery-path indication to data recipient or from setting a timer expiry value dependent on such received information. A method can comprise sending, by a data-sending protocol entity, a control protocol data unit. The control protocol data unit can identify protocol data units destined to a data-receiving protocol entity. The method can also comprise providing in the control protocol data unit, for each of the identified protocol data units, a direct or indirect indication of at least one delay figure of a delivery path chosen for an initial transmission of the identified protocol data unit.

    Abstract: Various communication systems may benefit from appropriate handling of reconfiguration. For example, certain wireless communication systems may benefit from lossless bearer reconfiguration when handling a transition from the user of a longer sequence number to a shorter sequence number. A method can include determining, by a protocol entity, if a next expected highest count value among count values associated with protocol data units received is more than a pre-defined limit ahead of a lowest count value among count values associated with protocol data units expected to be received. The method can also include resetting the next expected highest count value to a new value corresponding to a predefined upper limit, conditional on the determination.
