Abstract: A method for operating a second system application in a first system is provided. The method includes: creating an operating environment of the second system application through a loader on a target terminal; generating an application function component of the second system application in the loader; compiling script files of the second system application into dynamic library files by utilizing the compiling environment supported by the target terminal, and encapsulating the dynamic library files into an application package; installing the application package through the loader, and operating the dynamic library files in the application package under the operating environment. According to the aforesaid method, the target terminal can directly respond to a system instruction generated during execution of the compiled dynamic library files without the need of parsing and converting the system instruction, thus, a cross-platform operation efficiency of the application program can be improved.

Abstract: Provided are a data transmission control method and device and a non-transitory computer-readable medium. The data transmission control method includes: determining a multiple and a remainder according to a total data size of to-be-transmitted data and a set byte size, where the multiple is equal to a quotient obtained by dividing the total data size by the set byte size, and the remainder is equal to a remainder obtained by dividing the total data size by the set byte size; sequentially transmitting data whose size is the set byte size multiplied by the multiple in the to-be-transmitted data by transmitting data of the set byte size each time; and in response to the remainder being not zero, transmitting remaining data whose size is the remainder in the to-be-transmitted data.

Abstract: Devices and techniques for packet arbitration for buffered packets in a network device are described herein. A packet can be received at an input of the network device. The packet can be placed in a buffer for the input and a characteristic of the packet can be obtained. A record for the packet, that includes the characteristic, is written into a data structure that is independent of the buffer. Arbitration, based on the characteristic of the packet in the record, can then be performed among multiple packets to select a next packet from the buffer for delivery to an output.

Abstract: A method of generating a network topology map in a datacenter comprising a network manager server and a set of host machines is provided. Each host machine hosts a set of data compute nodes (DCNs). The method receives information regarding the configuration of each of a set of logical networks from the network manager server. Each logical network is connected to several DCNs. The method identifies logical connections configured between the DCNs using the configuration of the overlay networks. The method generates a network topology map based on the identified logical configuration. The network topology identifies the DCNs that are connected to each overlay network. The method displays the network topology map on a graphical user interface.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and processes for centralized containerized deployment of network traffic sensors to network sensor hosts for deep packet inspection (DPI) that supports various other cybersecurity operations. A network sensor package containing a pre-configured network sensor container is received by a network sensor host from a network sensor deployment server. Installation of the network sensor package on the network sensor host causes execution of the network sensor container that further causes deployment of an on-premise network sensor along with a network sensor management system, a DPI system, and an intrusion detection/prevention (IDS/IPS) system. The configurable on-premise network sensor is deployed on multiple operating system distributions of the network sensor host and generates actionable network metadata using DPI techniques for optimized log search and management and improved intrusion detection and response (IDR) operations.

Abstract: Systems and methods for InfiniBand fabric optimizations to minimize SA access and startup failover times. A system can comprise one or more microprocessors, a first subnet, the first subnet comprising a plurality of switches, a plurality of host channel adapters, a plurality of hosts, and a subnet manager, the subnet manager running on one of the one or more switches and the plurality of host channel adapters. The subnet manager can be configured to determine that the plurality of hosts and the plurality of switches support a same set of capabilities. On such determination, the subnet manager can configure an SMA flag, the flag indicating that a condition can be set for each of the host channel adapter ports.
