摘要: A variable buffer status report configuration is transmitted from a wireless communication network node to a user equipment. The configuration may comprise one or more functions to calculate a buffer status report indication that indicates, or to calculate a table that is used to indicate, a metric related to a buffer, or related to uplink traffic stored in a buffer, of the user equipment. The configuration may comprise a function to determine a precision variable that corresponds to a step size between different criteria, or criteria functions, that are used to determine a buffer status report indication. Buffer status report indications may vary in size based on a value of the indication. A user equipment may apply different received configurations, or functions thereof, to determine buffer status report indications based on different parameters, such as traffic type, traffic Quality of Service, buffer size, or amount of buffered uplink traffic.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine that an uplink buffer includes data to be communicated in a configured grant based uplink transmission. The UE may identify an interference profile associated with the UE performing the configured grant based uplink transmission. The UE may perform a skipping operation for the configured grant based uplink transmission based at least in part on the data in the uplink buffer and the interference profile, wherein the skipping operation comprises either performing the configured grant based uplink transmission or skipping the configured grant based uplink transmission.

摘要: This application describes methods and apparatus to manage data transport across multiple radio links for 5G-capable wireless devices. Under certain criteria, including performance of at least one radio link, a mobility state of a 5G-capable wireless device, and data transport requirements for a latency sensitive application session, the 5G-capable wireless device sends buffer status report (BSR) requests for one or more both of the radio links to prioritize and transition uplink (UL) data between radio links before a measurement reporting threshold is met. In some embodiments, the 5G-capable wireless device proactively sends BSR requests for radio resources before the UL data is generated by the latency sensitive application session. In some embodiments, the 5G-capable wireless device duplicates UL data for the latency sensitive application session across multiple radio links.

A user equipment (UE) may transmit one or more messages indicating a first time period having a duration prior to expected traffic being available for transmission at the UE, and indicating a size associated with the expected traffic (e.g., a quantity of bits). In some examples, the one or more messages may include a UE assistance information (UAI) message or a buffer status report (BSR) message. The UE may receive a response message based on the one or more messages indicating that a network entity is to enter a sleep mode during a second time period based on the first time period and the size associated with the expected traffic. In some examples, the network entity may enter the sleep mode based on the first time period and the size associated with the expected traffic.

The circuitry is also configured to, when only radio resource control (RRC) configuration is used for enabling and disabling uplink control information (UCI) with different priorities, allow the LP HARQ-ACK to multiplex with the HP HARQ-ACK of the first overlapping HP PUCCH only.
