摘要: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter may perform a first encoding operation on source packets that generates a first set of network coding encoded packets and may broadcast the first set of network coding encoded packets for reception by a plurality of receivers. The transmitter may receive feedback information associated with the first set of network coding encoded packets, the feedback information indicating that a first subset of network coding encoded packets were received by at least one of the plurality of receivers, the feedback information further indicating that one or more receivers of the plurality of receivers did not successfully recover all of the plurality of source packets. The transmitter may broadcast a second set of network coding encoded packets that does not include any of the first subset of network coding encoded packets. Numerous other aspects are provided.

摘要: In a communication system, a plurality of base stations includes an MeNB being a first base station, and a plurality of SeNBs to be connected to the MeNB. At least one of control plane data about control of communication and user plane data about a user is transmitted to and received from a user equipment (UE) via the first base station being the MeNB. The control plane data and the user plane data are contained in information provided by a core network about communication with the UE. The communication system can simplify processing of at least one of control plane data and user plane data when a communication terminal device communicates with a plurality of base station devices.

摘要: A network entity, such as a user equipment (UE), may request that a network provide multicast and broadcast services, e.g., where the request includes entity preferences such as network slice selection information. The network may provide information regarding provision of such services, where the information may include, for example, whether a service will be provided via a user plane or a control plane connection, network slice information, additional connections to be formed, separate encryption for such connections, etc. A Multicast/Broadcast Network Function (MBNF) may be used to establish such connections and manage a broadcast and multicast sessions. The MBNF may, for example, manage groups of entities, check an entity's access privileges for services, communicate with a Management and Network Orchestration (MANO) system to reserve resources, and send data to entities over a shared control plane connection.
