摘要: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for prioritizing sidelink communication transmissions. In accordance with one example embodiment, an apparatus may transmit, to a network node, assistance parameters associated with sidelink communication comprising quality of service (QoS) parameters. The apparatus may receive, from the network node, configuration parameters associated with sidelink communication that comprise a logical channel configuration, a mapping of a QoS parameter to a sidelink radio bearer, and a mapping of the sidelink radio bearer to a sidelink logical channel. The apparatus may receive a sidelink resource grant and may select, based on the logical channel configuration, one or more sidelink logical channels to be served by the sidelink resource grant. The apparatus may transmit a generated a medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU), comprising data associated with the selected one or more sidelink logical channels, using the received sidelink resource grant.

摘要: A network entity, such as a user equipment (UE), may request that a network provide multicast and broadcast services, e.g., where the request includes entity preferences such as network slice selection information. The network may provide information regarding provision of such services, where the information may include, for example, whether a service will be provided via a user plane or a control plane connection, network slice information, additional connections to be formed, separate encryption for such connections, etc. A Multicast/Broadcast Network Function (MBNF) may be used to establish such connections and manage a broadcast and multicast sessions. The MBNF may, for example, manage groups of entities, check an entity's access privileges for services, communicate with the a Management and Network Orchestration (MANO) system to reserve resources, and send data to entities over a shared control plane connection.

摘要: Methods and systems are disclosed for determining context information for one or more peers to be used in a peer discovery and/or peer association process(es) and/or to otherwise facilitate P2P proximity communications. For example, a method for determining peer context information may include receiving a context-aware identifier (CAID). The CAID may include one or more items of context information associated with the peer in addition to an indication of an identity of the peer. A first portion of the CAID may be decoded to determine a first item of context information associated with the peer. The first portion of the CAID may be decodable without having to process a payload portion of the message. It may be determined whether to continue processing one or more of the CAID or the message based on the first item of context information. The CAID may be used in discovery and/or association procedure(s).

摘要: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for Intra-UE Prioritization in uplink (UL) transmissions. In an example, an apparatus may receive first information indicating a first uplink grant associated with a first transmission and second information indicating a second uplink grant associated with a second transmission. The apparatus may determine, based on the first information and the second information, that the first transmission and the second transmission overlap at least partially in time. The apparatus may determine a first priority associated with the first transmission and a second priority associated with the second transmission. The apparatus may then cause, based at least in part on the first priority and the second priority, at least one of: prioritization of one transmission over another transmission, or preemption of the first transmission by the second transmission.

摘要: The present application may describe a method for obtaining channel access in a network. The method includes selecting, via a gNodeB, a spatial filter to perform listen before talk (LBT). The method includes detecting, via the gNodeB, a channel in an idle state. The method includes obtaining a directional channel occupancy time (COT). The method also includes transmitting a channel access indicator transmission (CAI-T) on a beam. The method further includes receiving a channel access indicator response (CAI-R). The method further includes sensing the channel is clear (e.g., via short channel sensing and the spatial filter). The method includes sending, via the channel, information to the node using one or more spatial filters of the second set of spatial filters. Other embodiments may include corresponding computer systems, apparatus, and computer programs recorded on one or more computer storage devices, each configured to perform the actions of the methods.

摘要: An apparatus including a non-transitory memory including instructions stored thereon for monitoring synchronous signals and physical broadcast channels (SSBs) from a network node. The apparatus also includes a processor, operably coupled to the non-transitory memory, configured to execute a set of instructions. The instructions include configuring the apparatus for a STTC (SSB Transmission Timing Configuration). The STTC is a time interval with plural locations accommodating transmission of the SSBs. The instructions also include monitoring the STTC for the SSBs. The instructions further include determining a first one of the SSBs in a first slot of a subframe in a scheduled SSB transmission in the STTC has been transmitted at a first scheduled location, where the transmission of the first one of the SSBs is based upon confirmation of a successful Listen Before Talk (LBT) available channel prior to the scheduled SSB transmission in the STTC.
