Abstract: Methods and apparatus are described for configuring desired network capabilities in a service-based network, including a method for a UE to initiate a network capability based registration to configure its desired network capabilities, a method for UEs to initiate a network capability based registration update when UEs are already registered to the network and want to dynamically re-configure their network capabilities, and a method for a network capability based UE configuration update, which allows NFs or ASs to initiate updating the network capabilities in a network slice for the UE.

Abstract: Radio networks such as Public Land Mobile Networks (PLMNs), user equipment devices (UEs), servers such as Internet-of-Things servers, and core network entities may be adapted to facilitate transfers of connections of wireless devices. For example, a first PLMN may provide restricted access to a UE to assist the UE in finding a second PLMN for a full connection. Entities may be adapted to support for non-coverage related PLMN transfers, such as transfers initiated by UEs, PLMNs, servers, and core network entities, e.g., in response to changing usage, congestion, etc.

Abstract: Multicast/Broadcast Service (MBS) for user equipments (UE) in Radio Resource Control (RRC) idle/inactive modes via signally of MBS frequency ranges and/or switching between frequency ranges as required. Bandwidth Part (BWP) operation for MBS in RRC_IDLE and RRC_INACTIVE states may be implemented using a dedicated MBS BWP or by sharing a frequency range with other operations. An MBS frequency range may be wider or narrower than an initial BWP used by a UE, for example. MBS frequency range configure may be achieved in a number of ways, such as via Control Resource Set (CORESET), search space, and/or PDCCH monitoring occasions pattern settings for MBS in RRC idle/inactive. Abstract: The present application may describe a method for obtaining channel access in a network. The method includes selecting, via a gNodeB, a spatial filter to perform listen before talk (LBT). The method includes detecting, via the gNodeB, a channel in an idle state. The method includes obtaining a directional channel occupancy time (COT). The method also includes transmitting a channel access indicator transmission (CAI-T) on a beam. The method further includes receiving a channel access indicator response (CAI-R). The method further includes sensing the channel is clear (e.g., via short channel sensing and the spatial filter). The method includes sending, via the channel, information to the node using one or more spatial filters of the second set of spatial filters. Other embodiments may include corresponding computer systems, apparatus, and computer programs recorded on one or more computer storage devices, each configured to perform the actions of the methods.

Abstract: A discoverer user equipment sends a discovery announcement to a discoveree user equipment via a sidelink service. The announcement includes criteria for a service sought by discoverer. The discoveree assesses the announcement and may respond to the discoverer. The discovery announcement may be a target search discovery announcement or a self-advertisement discovery announcement, and may be unicast, groupcast, or broadcast. The discoverer and discoveree may perform synchronization in support of V2X sidelink communication and may collect driving information pertaining to vehicles associated with the discoverer and discoveree, respectively, such as driving intention, positioning, and environment information. The discoverer may request an authorization for the discovery announcement, and the request may include the driving information. The information in the announcement and the response may include discoverer and discoveree service, platform, and radio capabilities, source identifiers, driving information, radio measurements, group identifiers, and protocol configuration parameters.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for multi-subscriber identification module (SIM) connected mode operation. In one embodiment, a wireless communications device may receive, from an access stratum interface, a request access to the receiver chain during a receiving opportunity. The wireless communications device may determine that the receiver chain is available during the receiving opportunity. The wireless communications device may send a response indicating access is granted to cause the access stratum interface to receive a downlink transmission during the receiving opportunity. The wireless communications device may receive, from the access stratum interface, a second request for a transmitter chain during a transmitting opportunity. The wireless communications device may determine that the transmitter chain is available during the transmitting opportunity. The wireless communications device may send a second response indicating access is granted to enable the access stratum interface to transmit an uplink transmission during the transmitting opportunity.
