摘要: A method for estimating energy use in an air filtration system using a preselected air filter includes the steps of: entering filtration system information into a computer having access to dust holding capacity—pressure drop curves for a plurality of air filters; determining an estimated current energy use of the air filtration system for a current air filter in the system; and presenting the estimated energy use on a display of the computer. Proposed filters can be evaluated and filter operation and changing cycle can be optimized.

摘要: A system and method for removing retentate from filters is disclosed, which utilizes pressurized and/or vacuum fluid through localized application. The disclosure describes a cleaning system and sequence of steps for carrying out the cleaning process, whereby, a fluid is directed to flow through a localized region of the filter media, thereby dislodging and removing accumulated retentate from the filter. In addition, the localized application of fluid flow allows for localized monitoring of the cleanliness of the filter with a high degree of spatial resolution. This filter retentate removal system and method is broadly applicable to a wide range of systems and processes ranging to engines and exhaust systems to production plants and equipment.

摘要: The invention relates to a device for separating overspray from the booth air of coating booths, in particular painting systems, charged with overspray. The device includes a separation unit through which booth air charged with overspray can be guided and in which overspray is separated. The separating unit is designed as an exchangeable structural unit having a filter housing, an inlet opening and a filter unit. The air flow charged with overspray can be guided via the air guiding device to the separation unit. The separating unit includes an inlet collar which defines the inlet at least in sections and the air guiding device includes a connecting sleeve, which immerses in such a manner into the inlet opening when the separating device is in operation in such a manner that said connecting sleeve is surrounded by the inlet collar of the separation unit.

摘要: A scavenge tube is slidably attached to either a filter head housing or a liquid return port in a wall of a vessel. The scavenge tube can be slidably positioned to ensure that the tube is oriented within the area where the collected liquid will pool. In one example, the scavenge tube is slidably attached to the housing by way of being spring-biased. A slidable grounding tube is attached to an electrically grounded filter head housing and projects into a liquid collection region of a filter member and is in touching engagement with a metal portion of the filter member to ground the filter member to the filter head. In one example, the slidable grounding tube is spring-biased.

摘要: An air intake device has a first inlet through which outside air flows and a second inlet through which inside air flows. A filter is arranged to cover a lower part of the first inlet and a lower part of the second inlet. An air sending device is located under the filter, and the filter is arranged to be inclined to an air intake part of the air sending device. The air intake device is configured to be switched between an outside air mode and a two, layer mode. The air intake device defines a continuation passage at the outside air mode. The continuation passage causes the outside air to flow from the lower part of the first inlet to the lower part of the second inlet.
