Abstract:
A dry filter module adapted for use with a paint spray booth having an under section inlet for conducting a flow of contaminated air and an under section outlet for conducting a flow of filtered air includes at least one movable cart formed with a housing having one or more surfaces for providing a housing inlet and a housing outlet, at least one filter media element arranged within the housing, and at least one seal provided around the one or more surfaces for sealing between the housing inlet and the under section inlet and also between the housing outlet and the under section outlet. The movable cart is operated to move for making contact with the at least one seal between the housing and the spray booth such that the housing of the movable cart and the spray booth are connected and sealed to each other.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A device for supplying process air to a treatment station, the device comprising an air conducting system for delivering fresh air to the treatment station and discharging particle-loaded waste air from the treatment station, a separation system for separating the particles from the waste air, and a control unit. The separation system includes at least one filter module with at least one replaceable filter element for accepting the separated particles. The filter element includes an RFID tag and the device includes an RFID reader which is positioned in such a way that an RFID reading process can be initiated when a filter element is removed and/or inserted, and said RFID reading process can be communicated.
Abstract:
A method and system for treating objects, the objects are conveyed through a treatment cabin and treated in a treatment space. During treatment solvents are released. Cabin air flows through the treatment space, which absorbs solvents and is discharged as process air from the treatment space. At least one proportion of the process air charged with solvent is recycled in the treatment space and at least one proportion of the process air can be discharged as exhaust air. Fresh air is fed to the treatment space, which contributes to the cabin air, such that the cabin air includes a circulating air proportion and a fresh air proportion. The solvent concentration is captured in the cabin air and/or in the process air and/or in the exhaust air and the circulating air proportion and the fresh air proportion of the cabin air are regulated as a function of the captured solvent concentration.
Abstract:
By setting a robot installing area at a higher pressure than an adjacent painting area, there is formed an air flow which flows from the robot installing area into the painting area. With this, in a painting facility in which a painting object is painted by paint spraying from a sprayer while displacing the painting object held to an arm leading end portion of a painting robot relative to the sprayer by an action of the painting robot, adhesion of paint to the painting robot and to a painting area lateral wall is prevented.
Abstract:
A spray booth for providing a controlled environment for spraying of material comprises a roof portion (31), a side portion which extends from the roof portion to a floor, first and second end portions which extend from respective opposing ends of the roof portion to the floor, the roof portion, side portion and first and second end portions thereby defining a work space (21) having a substantially closed side, a pair of substantially closed ends, and a substantially open side, air input equipment (34) operable to provide an input airflow into the work space via the roof portion (31), and air extraction equipment (32,37,38,33) operable to produce an output airflow to extract air from the work space. In use, the volume flow rate of the input airflow is larger than the volume flow rate of the output airflow, creating an outpour of excess of input air acting as an air curtain (23) on the open side.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed toward a movable airborne contaminant control system having a retractable/extendable booth attached in a sealing manner to a ventilation unit, preferably mounted on wheels. The ventilation unit includes a filter assembly that opens into the work are formed by the booth. Front doors support air filters. In operation, the ventilation unit draws air in a longitudinal laminar flow over one or more work pieces. The filter assembly captures both particulates and VOCs to allow the exhaust air to include an extremely low contaminant load.
Abstract:
After completion of a preceding painting in a preceding painting area, by an action of a preceding painting robot, a painting object (object to be painted) is caused to be held together with a holder by a transfer section near two painting areas. In succession, with maintaining connection between the painting object and the holder, connection between an arm leading end portion of the preceding painting robot and the holder is released. Thereafter, by an action of a subsequent painting robot, an arm leading end portion of the subsequent painting robot with keeping its connection to the painting object is connected to the holder held to the transfer section. With this, in the course of transfer of the painting object between the painting robots for displacing the painting object relative to a spraying means, a relative positional relation between the arm leading portions of the painting robots and the painting object can be maintained same.
Abstract:
In order to provide a method for the thermal conditioning of an auxiliary material, which, to clean a crude gas stream loaded with an organic pollutant, is configured to be introduced into the crude gas stream and together with the organic pollutant forms a stable system of pollutant and auxiliary material, which can be carried out easily and in a resource-saving manner, it is proposed that the method includes the following steps: feeding the system of pollutant and auxiliary material and a carrier gas stream that has been heated in relation to normal conditions into a thermal conditioning device; chemical conversion of at least a part of the organic pollutant to produce a conditioned auxiliary material; separating the conditioned auxiliary material from the auxiliary material loaded with an organic pollutant by transportation by means of a gas flow; and removing the conditioned auxiliary material from the thermal conditioning device.
Abstract:
In a method for operating a surface treatment installation, overspray produced in a coating booth is taken up by an air stream and carried to one or more one-way filter modules, in which overspray is separated. Once a limit loading with overspray is reached, a one-way filter module is exchanged for an empty one-way filter module. Depending on the nature and characteristics of the overspray, the one or more one-way filter module(s) may be chosen from a set of different one-way filter modules. A set of filter modules for use in a surface treatment installation is provided having various filter modules formed as exchangeable one-way structural units with a module housing and a filter unit. The module housings of the various filter modules have the same-connection module inlets and the same-connection module outlets and at least the filter units of two different filter modules are formed differently.
