    Abstract: A thermal management system for a vehicle includes an engine cooling circuit that causes a heat medium to circulate through an engine, and an engine radiator that exchanges heat between the heat medium in the engine cooling circuit and outside air. The thermal management system for a vehicle further includes a switching device that switches between an independent mode in which the heat medium circulates respectively independently through a cooler cooling circuit and the engine cooling circuit, and a communication mode in which the cooler cooling circuit and the engine cooling circuit communicate with each other to cause the heat medium to flow between a chiller and the engine radiator; and a controller that controls an operation of the switching device to switch to the communication mode when a temperature of the heat medium in the engine cooling circuit is lower than a first heat-medium temperature.

    Abstract: A vehicle air-conditioner has a casing, a first heat exchanger, and a second heat exchanger. The casing forms an air passage through which air flows toward inside of a vehicle cabin. The first heat exchanger is housed in the casing and performs a sensible heat exchange between the air flowing in the air passage and a heating medium. The second heat exchanger is housed in the casing and performs a sensible heat exchange between the heating medium and air that has exchanged sensible heat in the first heat exchanger. The first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger respectively have a plurality of tubes through which the heating medium flows. A longitudinal direction of the plurality of tubes of the first heat exchanger and a longitudinal direction of the plurality of tubes of the second heat exchanger are the same direction as each other.

Heat medium inlet sides of the respective target devices for heat exchange included in a first target device group for heat exchange are connected to a first switching valve in parallel. The heat medium inlet side of the first pump and the heat medium inlet side of the second pump are connected to a second switching valve in parallel. The heat medium outlet sides of the respective target devices for heat exchange included in the first target device group for heat exchange are connected to the second switching valve in parallel.     Abstract: A refrigeration cycle device for a vehicle has a compressor, a first pump, a high-pressure side heat exchanger, a heating medium-outside air heat exchanger, and a controller. The compressor draws and discharges a refrigerant. The first pump draws and discharges a first heating medium. The high-pressure side heat exchanger heats the first heating medium by exchanging heat between a high-pressure refrigerant discharged from the compressor and the first heating medium. The heating medium-outside air heat exchanger exchanges heat between the first heating medium and outside air. The controller controls operation of the compressor and the first pump. The controller activates the first pump when an activation request of the compressor is made. The controller activates the compressor, after activating the first pump, when it is determined or estimated that a temperature of the first heating medium is lower than or equal to a first predetermined value.

    Abstract: A refrigeration cycle device includes a compressor, an air-refrigerant heat exchanger that exchanges heat between air and refrigerant, an expansion valve decompressing the refrigerant, a heat medium-refrigerant heat exchanger that exchanges heat between a heat medium and the refrigerant, a cold-heat utilization device that utilizes cold heat of the heat medium, and a hot-heat utilization device that utilizes hot heat of the heat medium. A refrigerant flow switching valve is provided to switch between a heat-medium cooling mode of cooling the heat medium in the heat medium-refrigerant heat exchanger, and a heat-medium heating mode of heating the heat medium in the heat medium-refrigerant heat exchanger. In addition, a heat medium flow switching device is provided such that, in the heat-medium cooling mode, the heat medium circulates between the heat medium-refrigerant heat exchanger and the cold-heat utilization device, and that in the heat-medium heating mode, the heat medium circulates between the heat medium-refrigerant heat exchanger and the hot-heat utilization device.
