    Abstract: An image decoding method performed by a decoding apparatus includes the operations of: deriving a correspondence block corresponding to the current block of the current picture, the correspondence block being located in a co-located picture; deriving a movement vector of the correspondence block; scaling the movement vector of the correspondence block based on a first temporal distance and second temporal distance, the first temporal distance being the difference between the POC values of the co-located picture and POC values of the reference picture of the correspondence block, and the second temporal distance being the difference between the POC values of the co-located picture and POC values of the current picture containing the current block; deriving the movement vector updated based on the scaled movement vector and location of the current block; and deriving a movement vector of the current block based on the updated movement vector.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a video signal processing method and device. Particularly, a method for decoding a video signal, may comprise the steps of: checking whether a transfer skip is applied to a current block; obtaining, from a video signal, a transform index for indicating a transform type set applied to the current block when the transform skip is not applied to the current block, wherein the transform type set includes transform types applied to the current block in horizontal and vertical directions; checking whether the transform type set includes DCT2; determining a region to which a primary transform is applied based on a checking result; and performing an inverse transform on the region to which the primary transform is applied in the horizontal and vertical directions using the transform types included in the transform type set.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide video signal processing methods. A video signal encoding method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises checking a transform block including residual samples except a prediction sample from a picture of the video signal, generating transform coefficients through a transform for the residual samples of the transform block based on a size of the transform block, and performing quantization and entropy coding the transform coefficients, wherein generating the transform coefficients includes, applying a forward primary transform to each of a horizontal direction and vertical direction of the transform block including the residual samples, and not applying a forward non-separable secondary transform to the transform block to which the primary transform has been applied when the size of the transform block is smaller than or equal to 4×4, and applying the forward non-separable secondary transform to the transform block when the size of the transform block is greater than 4×4.

    Abstract: A method and a device for processing a video signal are disclosed. In particular, a method for decoding a video signal includes parsing a first syntax element indicating a primary transform kernel applied to a primary transform of a current block; determining whether a secondary transform is applicable to the current block based on the first syntax element; if the secondary transform is applicable to the current block, parsing a second syntax element indicating a secondary transform kernel applied to a secondary transform of the current block; deriving a secondary inverse-transformed block, by performing a secondary inverse-transform for a top-left specific region of the current block using a secondary transform kernel indicated by the second syntax element; and deriving a residual block of the current block, by performing a primary inverse-transform for the secondary inverse-transformed block using a primary transform kernel indicated by the first syntax element.
