    摘要: Based on a difference (ΔFb) between a target value (Fbt) and an actual value (Fba) of a friction member force for pressing a brake disc, a feedback energization amount (Ipt) is calculated using a proportional gain smaller than an ultimate sensitivity gain. If ΔFb falls within a fluctuation range of torque ripple, a first compensation energization amount (Ibt) is calculated using a proportional gain larger than the ultimate sensitivity gain, and if ΔFb falls outside the fluctuation range, the first compensation energization amount (Ibt) is calculated to be constant. A second compensation energization amount (Ift) is calculated based on a calculation characteristic that is preset based on a torque fluctuation over a predetermined range of an electric motor position and based on an actual position of the electric motor. An indication energization amount calculated according to Fbt is adjusted by Ipt, Ibt, and Ift to calculate a target energization amount.

A stored adaptive capability is provided whereby a braking controller is able to learn the braking imbalance and correct for this by introducing differential pressure adjustments such as increasing braking at the wheel of the lower brake output and/or reducing braking at the wheel with a higher brake output. The learning process is completed over selected parts of several vehicle stops and is repeated continuously.

The nominal value of the pump speed is compared with the actual value of the pump speed in a control circuit, and the new correcting variable for the pump activation is derived from the difference.

Therefore, even when there is a disturbance in the form of roughnesses in the road surface or the like, this is determined to be a temporary phenomenon and the switching of the setting from the reducing-pressure mode to the holding pressure mode can take place in a reliable manner, and the usual, stable braking power can be achieved in correspondence with the relationship between the road surface and the tires.

    摘要: An anti-lock braking system for a road vehicle having a plurality of hydraulically operated brake actuators, a plurality of control channels controlling the supply of hydraulic fluid to the brake actuators, an electrical supply and a hydraulic pump for supplying hydraulic fluid to the brake actuation circuit. The pump is driven by an electric motor energized by the power supply. The magnitude of the operating voltage at the pump motor is compared with a predetermined reference voltage. The physical demand upon the pump motor is reduced by inhibiting the control channels if the measured magnitude of the electric motor voltage is less than the reference value.
