摘要: An anti-skid control apparatus controls the value of electric current, which is being applied to the first solenoid valve and equal to or greater than the predetermined electric current value, to a value of electric current corresponding to the pressure difference between the master cylinder pressure and the wheel cylinder pressure at a time point where the pressure-increasing control is started; and changes the value of electric current in a direction to be reduced for a first period of time during the pressure-increasing control as the estimated amount of the wheel cylinder pressure reduced by the pressure-reducing control is increased, when the estimated amount of the wheel cylinder pressure reduced by the pressure-reducing control is equal to or greater than a predetermined value.

摘要: The similarity groups of the pressure differential-current characteristics of solenoid valves are measured in advance, and the measurement results are used to select the solenoid valves to be used for first to fourth pressure increase control valves. Only solenoid valves in the same region in terms of their similarity group of the pressure differential-current characteristics are used for the first to fourth pressure increase control valves. A board on which the first to fourth control valves are mounted is provided with a mark unit that indicates the similarity group of the pressure differential-current characteristics of the first to forth pressure increase control valves. The mark unit includes a resistor. A brake ECU uses the resistance value of the resistor to identify the similarity group of the pressure differential-current characteristics of the first to fourth pressure increase control valves.

摘要: A hydraulic automotive brake system with wheel slip control, includes a pressure medium source, to which a main pressure line is connected, which leads to a wheel brake, first and second pressure relief line segments connected to the wheel brake and leading to a supply reservoir, and having a pressure modulation valve arranged in it that either separates the supply reservoir from the wheel brake or connects it to the wheel brake, as well as a control orifice valve that is arranged in the main pressure line upstream of the first pressure relief line segment, actuated by changes in the hydraulic pressure. The brake system features a pressure chamber that actuates the control orifice valve and is provided with check valves, of which one of the check valves separates the pressure chamber from a pressure medium branch of the main pressure line arranged upstream of a control orifice, the other check valve connects the pressure chamber to the connection of the pressure relief line segment to the wheel brake, and whereby a final control element is guided in a sealed manner in the first pressure chamber and is exclusively exposed to pressure from the pressure medium source in the one direction of actuation of the control orifice valve, and in the other direction of actuation is exposed to the pressure change in the pressure chamber.

During brake pressure control, the difference in pressure acting on the master cylinder side and that on the wheel cylinder side causes the switching valve to switch to a constricted channel, thereby noticeably reducing the amount of noise, vibration, and harshness.

摘要: A pressure control valve unit for a hydraulic brake device is provided which considerably reduces noise, vibration, and harshness, and is compact and inexpensive. The pressure control valve unit comprises a switching valve and a normally-open inlet valve sequentially located in the main brake line in a housing cavity between the master cylinder and the wheel cylinder(s). During a brake pressure control action, the difference in pressure acting on the master cylinder side and that on the wheel cylinder side causes the switching valve to switch to a constricted channel, thereby noticeably reducing the amount of noise vibration harshness.

摘要: A dual function brake fluid control apparatus is presented for performing antiskid operation as well as another control operation involving control of the fluid pressure when the apparatus is not performing an antiskid operation. The apparatus is provided with a pressure relief valve having a valve body and a piston. The relief valve is forced closed by a biasing spring acting on a valve body, and when in the open state relieves the discharge pressure of a pump to the intake side of the pump. The piston closes the relief valve when the fluid pressure from the master cylinder exceeds a specific value. This configuration allows setting the discharge fluid pressure of the pump to apply fluid pressure to the wheel cylinders for non-antiskid control operations higher than that for the antiskid control operation. During an antiskid control operation, the fluid pressure relief valve also allows to maintain the discharge fluid pressure of the pump at the same value as or higher than the fluid pressure generated in the master cylinder.

摘要: An anti-lock brake system having a switchable orifice control valve disposed between the master brake cylinder and the brake assembly. The switchable orifice control valve, having a valve body, a stationary member, a movable member and a solenoid coil actuated armature. The switchable orifice control valve has a normally open state, a closed state and a third state during an anti-lock mode of operation. In the third state the brake fluid from the master brake cylinder to the brake assembly flows through a calibrated re-apply orifice which controls the rate at which the pressure of the fluid being applied to the brake assembly is increased at a predetermined rate. The switchable orifice control valve is held in the third state by a pressure differential orifice between the input and output ports of the switchable orifice control valve.
