Abstract: The invention relates to a method, apparatus and system for configuring control channels in a mobile communication network and a mobile station. In order to suggest another improved scheme for configuring control channels, in particular control channels related to the transmission of user data the invention suggests aligning the size of the control channel information of different formats to an equal number of coded control channel information bits and/or modulation symbols for each control channel. The control channels may comprise scheduling related control information. According to another aspect of the invention, the size of the control channel information is aligned by means of modulation and/or coding, however the control channel information is aligned to one out of a set of numbers of coded control channel information bits and/or modulation symbols for each control channel.

Abstract: A communication device for use in a communication system is provided. The communication device comprises a priority message generator configured to obtain a piece of priority information, and to generate a priority message based on the piece of priority information and a priority information encoding rule. Abstract: A system for optimizing remote direct memory accesses (RDMA) is provided. The system includes a first computing device and a second computing device disposed in signal communication with the first computing device. The first and second computing devices are respectively configured to exchange RDMA credentials during a setup of a communication link between the first and second computing devices. The exchanged RDMA credentials include cache line size information of the first computing device by which a cache aligned RDMA write operation is executable on a cache of the first computing device in accordance with the cache line size information by the second computing device.

Abstract: A Level-1 (L1) signaling flag is mapped to unused (invalid) bit sequences in Part 1 of the HS-SCCH—that is, Part 1 bit encodings that are not defined in the UTRAN specifications—and a corresponding L1 command is encoded in Part 2. This allows UE (18) to detect early that the HS-SCCH is pure L1 signaling, and the UE (18) may avoid wasting power by not processing an accompanying HS-PDSCH. Alternatively, in CPC HS-SCCH-less mode, the UE (18) may blind decode the HS PDSCH. In one embodiment, a general DRX mode is defined and controlled via L1 signaling. In one embodiment, a UE (18) acknowledgement improves the L1 signaling accuracy. In one embodiment, a L1 signal and UE (18) acknowledgement protocol are utilized to “ping” a UE (18).
