Abstract: By controlling the luminance of light emitting element not by means of a voltage to be impressed to the TFT but by means of controlling a current that flows to the TFT in a signal line drive circuit, the current that flows to the light emitting element is held to a desired value without depending on the characteristics of the TFT. Further, a voltage of inverted bias is impressed to the light emitting element every predetermined period. Since a multiplier effect is given by the two configurations described above, it is possible to prevent the luminance from deteriorating due to a deterioration of the organic luminescent layer, and further, it is possible to maintain the current that flows to the light emitting element to a desired value without depending on the characteristics of the TFT.

Abstract: A display module including a substrate having a plurality of pixels, a data line that supplies a data signal to a pixel, a current supply line that supplies electric current to the pixel, a data driving circuit that supplies a data signal to the data line, and a gate driving circuit thereon. The plurality of pixels are arranged in a display area of the substrate, and each of the plurality of pixels includes a light emitting device, a first thin film transistor connected to the data line that supplies the data signal, a second thin film transistor connected to the current supply line, and a capacitor. The light emitting device includes a first electrode layer connected to the second thin film transistor, an organic layer formed on the first electrode layer, and a second electrode layer formed on the organic layer.

Abstract: A display device is disclosed. In one aspect, the display device includes a display panel divided into first and second display parts. The display device also includes a first driving circuit configured to receive a driving voltage, generate a first gamma reference voltage based on the driving voltage, generate a first data signal based on the first gamma reference voltage, and apply the first data signal to the first display part. The display device further includes a second driving circuit configured to apply a second data signal to the second display part and a first share line disposed on the display panel. The first share line is configured to receive the first gamma reference voltage. The second driving circuit is further configured to receive the first gamma reference voltage from the first share line and generate the second data signal based on the first gamma reference voltage.

Abstract: Subject matter disclosed herein relates to arrangements and techniques that provide for using a wavelength specific illumination for illuminating a display, for example an electrowetting display. The electrowetting display comprises a first substrate and a second substrate. A plurality of pixel regions is provided between the first substrate and the second substrate. The electrowetting display further comprises a first fluid within the pixel regions and on the first substrate. The first fluid comprises one or more dyes and a second fluid is disposed on the first fluid. The second fluid is substantially immiscible with the first fluid. An illumination layer is included between the first substrate and the second substrate. The illumination layer comprises one or more LEDs and at least one of the LEDs produces light at a specific wavelength corresponding to a wavelength of absorption of one of the one or more dyes.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a gate integrated driving circuit and a restoring method thereof, a display panel and a display apparatus. The gate integrated driving circuit may comprise a plurality of cascaded shift registers, wherein at least one restoring thin film transistor is provided in each of the cascaded shift registers and the restoring thin film transistor is configured to replace a thin film transistor having a failure in the shift register. When a thin film transistor in the shift register has a failure, the gate integrated driving circuit according to the present disclosure may replace the thin film transistor having the failure to operate. Thus, the restoring thin film transistor can restore the failure of the gate integrated driving circuit, thereby improving the productivity of the gate integrated driving circuit.

Abstract: A wirelessly powered display comprises a substrate, an antenna with multiple turns disposed on the substrate, an electronic circuit disposed on the substrate, and one or more pixels each having one or more inorganic light-emitting diodes disposed on the substrate. The electronic circuit is electrically connected to the one or more inorganic LEDs and the antenna, the antenna is responsive to electromagnetic energy to provide electrical power, and the electronic circuit includes a power converter that converts a signal with a relatively high current and low voltage to a signal with a relatively high voltage and low current. A wirelessly coupled display system includes a device including a wireless power transmitter that provides wireless power within a specified range and one or more wirelessly powered displays located within the range and responsive to the wireless power provided by the device to display an image.
