    Abstract: The launching of an unmanned projectile includes pre-packaging a barrel with a projectile, a pusher cup, and a gas generator. The gas generator generates gas to propel the projectile out of the barrel. A pressure chamber increases a pressure of the gas in the barrel. The pressure chamber comprises a front body portion connected to the gas generator; an aft body portion connected to the front body portion and the gas generator; and a vent sleeve positioned around the front body portion and adapted to provide an aperture through which the gas exits the barrel in order to control a level of gas pressure in the barrel. A triggering of the gas generator causes the pusher cup to push the projectile out of the barrel at a predetermined launch velocity in order to attain a predetermined self-propelled flight trajectory, wherein the triggering causes the pusher cup to exit the barrel.

    Abstract: A revolver for firing high velocity ammunition includes a frame, a cylinder, a barrel, and a firing mechanism.     Abstract: A long-distance blast banger including a cartridge loaded with a blast banger made up from plastic material. The blast banger encompasses a sound explosives cup and a delay cup. The sound explosives cup is loaded with a sound explosives agent having components including perchloryl potassium, magnesium powder and aluminum powder. A sufficient sound value is acquired through appropriate compacting of the sound explosives cup, and therefrom realizes uniform shattering of the cup into small fragments that are insufficient to cause injury. Furthermore, at least two helical grooves extending from a bottom to a top of the cartridge are defined on an inner wall thereof, and ear attachments are configured on a base of an outer wall of the blast banger so as to correspond with the helical grooves, thereby engendering a spinning stability effect during flight time of the blast banger, reducing wind resistance, and thus increasing flight range.

    Abstract: Rifling for the barrel of a firearm includes a first gain twist region for increasing the rotational velocity of a bullet as it travels from the breech towards the muzzle end of the barrel, and a second region in which the rifling is of a constant twist so that the bullet exits the muzzle end of the barrel at a constant rotational velocity. The bore defined in the barrel is tapered in a direction from the breech end to the muzzle end so that the diameter of the muzzle opening of the barrel is less than the diameter of the breech opening. The angle of the rifling is variable with the rate of the gain twist of the rifling. The gain twist of the rifling in the barrel is formed by a button, preferably having a sinusoidal shaped periphery, which is pulled through the barrel during the manufacturing process. The smooth periphery of the button prevents shredding of the barrel when the button is twisted at different speeds to provide the variable gain twist of the rifling in different sections of the barrel. In a further aspect of the invention, an apparatus is provided for selectively varying the rotational speed of the button to form the desired gain twist of the rifling during manufacture of the barrel.
