Abstract: The present invention provides a high-precision spherical single-headed bullet, including a spherical warhead, a circular cylindrical bullet support and a cardboard bullet support which are arranged in a smoothbore tube; an inner cavity of the smoothbore tube is filled with a propellant; the cardboard bullet support is arranged above the propellant at the rear end of the smoothbore tube in a closed manner; one end of the cardboard bullet support away from the propellant is provided with the circular cylindrical bullet support; an inner cavity of the circular cylindrical bullet support is provided with a firing hole; and the spherical warhead is arranged at the upper end of the firing hole of the circular cylindrical bullet support. According to the present invention, the spherical warhead has natural relative stability in flight, higher shooting accuracy and strong penetrating power, and is low in price and easy to process.

Abstract: An ammunition cartridge comprised of a projectile inserted in, and mechanically connected to, a metal cartridge case assembly having a propulsion chamber and a base, and an energetic propellant disposed in the propulsion chamber, includes a base plug in which is mounted an igniter with an energetic primer. During manufacture of the cartridge, a fusible support ring is incorporated into a metal cavity. The cartridge base includes a cavity allowing the fusible material to solidify at ambient temperatures. When exposed to heat from an external fire, the fusible support plug liquefies losing its strength and subsequently, when a propellant or primer off-gasses or auto-ignites the pressure from the reaction ejects a metal plug or lid from the cartridge case base, creating a void that allows the propellant and primer to combust in an unconfined space.

Abstract: The invention relates to fragmenting projectiles. In order that all projectiles of a*waffe*Bug projectile type have the same point of impact, i.e., the same projectile weight, the same center of gravity and the same geometry, and that the marksman can set the fragmentation behavior solely by selecting the projectile, fragmenting projectiles having defined fragmentation in steps for the same point of impact, designed as two projectile types, namely as partially fragmenting projectiles or as jacketed projectiles, are proposed, wherein all fragmenting projectiles of a projectile type have the same projectile weight, the same center of gravity, and the same geometry, a fragmentable core is arranged in the front nose region for both projectile types, all fragmentable cores of a projectile type have the same density and differ from each other in the weight of the fragmentable core depending on the fragmentation, and all projectiles of a projectile type having the same weight of the fragmentable core have an identical marking that can be seen or felt from the outside.
