    摘要: A powder meter tube includes a metering tube and a metering assembly. The metering assembly is retained in the metering tube. The metering tube includes a nut cutout and a graduated slot. The metering assembly includes a threaded shaft, a micrometer nut, a piston and a bearing. A threaded hole is formed through the micrometer nut to threadably receive the threaded shaft. The bearing includes a base and two spring fingers that extend from the base. The piston is pressed on to one end of the threaded shaft and the bearing pressed on to an opposite end of the threaded shaft. The spring fingers allow the metering assembly to be inserted into the metering tube and the micrometer nut to protrude through the nut cutout. In use, the micrometer nut is rotated in either direction to increase or decrease the powder capacity in the metering tube.

    摘要: A non-contacting deviation measurement system projects a first line and a second line upon a surface of an object. The projections of the first line and second line are arranged to overlap at an intersection line oriented at a nominal location such that when the surface is oriented at the nominal location, the intersection line appears on the surface. As the location of the surface deviates from the nominal location, the first line and second line as projected upon the surface move away from one another. The distance between the lines may be used to calculate the deviation from the nominal location. The deviation calculated may be compared to a predetermined maximum allowable deviation.

The present invention relates particularly to a particulate feeder system that includes, among other features, one or more: feeder assemblies for advancing material that incorporate a spool having a channel disposed within its outer circumference for advancing material, the spool having a plurality of circumferentially spaced contours configured so as to not form transverse barriers within the channel; motors configured to connect to the feeder assemblies; and scales for weighing advanced material.
