    摘要: A wobble plate in a wobble plate compressor has a bevel gear positioned at a central portion thereof. The bevel gear is provided with a centered ball seat. A second bevel gear is supported on the cylinder block and also has a centered ball seat. A bearing ball is seated in both of the ball seats so that the wobble plate nutates about the ball. At least one of the bevel gears is coated with electroless composite plating layer having a self-lubricative material, such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), dispersed therein. Consequently, the bevel gears have low frictional resistance, high hardness and improved anti-seizure characteristics.

With this structure, it may be possible to prevent the Oldham ring from being worn out due to contact with the orbiting scroll. Further, a weight loss portion or wear-resistant coating layer may be formed on a portion of the Oldham ring, thereby suppressing or preventing vibration noise of the scroll compressor from being increased due to a weight increase of the Oldham ring.

    摘要: A cylinder liner for use in an internal combustion engine having a cylinder block with a cylinder bore adapted to carry a piston therein. The liner comprises a body formed from a powdered metal material, the body formed therefrom being rigid and wear resistant. The body comprises a smooth, inner, piston-directing surface; an outer, cylinder bore-contacting surface; and an upper, combustion containing area. A mechanism is provided for improving transfer of heat from the combustion containing area to the cylinder block. A mechanism, disposed within the piston-directing surface, is provided for improving piston scuff resistance while maintaining piston-directing surface smoothness.

    摘要: A steel laminate type cylinder head gasket is installed in an engine having a cylinder block with a cylinder bore, a cylinder head with an auxiliary combustion chamber and a mouth plate attached to the cylinder head. The gasket is formed of first and second plates laminating together, a compressible member and a sealing device for sealing around the cylinder bore. The first plate includes a hole adjacent the cylinder bore. The hole is located under a part of the mouth plate to form an elongated strip between the hole and the cylinder bore. The compressible member is situated inside the hole to support the mouth plate. A supporting device is also formed at the elongated strip to support the mouth plate together with the wire ring. Accordingly, damage by movement of the mouth plate is substantially prevented.
