Abstract: Techniques related to the render and encode of graphics frames representative of 3D video games are discussed. Such techniques include translating one or more of a transparency map, a depth map, a color compression map, or a motion field used to encode a graphics frame to encode parameters and encoding the first graphics frame using the encode parameters to generate a bitstream.

Abstract: Often when there is a glare on a display screen the user may be able to mitigate the glare by tilting or otherwise moving the screen or changing their viewing position. However, when driving a car there are limited options for overcoming glares on the dashboard, especially when you are driving for a long distance in the same direction. Embodiments are directed to eliminating such glare. Other embodiments are related to mixed reality (MR) and filling in occluded areas.

Abstract: A smart display including one or more groups of smart pixels and at least one graphics engine. The at least one graphics engine is fragmented into GPU (graphics processing unit) minute cores. The GPU minute cores are distributed throughout the smart display. The smart pixels with distributed graphics within the smart display perform deep learning. Libraries stored on GPU minute core embedded memory are used to perform object identification using deep learning. The smart display monitors for pixel degradation and, if necessary, performs pixel enhancement.

Abstract: Techniques for improved decryption of an encrypted media stream are described. In one embodiment, a system may include a receiver to receive an encrypted media stream, an extraction module to extract an encryption characteristic of the encrypted media stream, a first processor to produce configuration commands from the extracted encryption characteristic, a second processor to receive the encrypted media stream and the configuration commands, and to produce decrypted media based upon a decryption scheme indicated by the configuration commands, and a key distribution module, to distribute a decryption key to the second processor.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses and storage medium associated with securely provisioning a digital content protection scheme are disclosed. In various embodiments, a method may include forming a trust relationship between a media application within an application execution environment of a device and a security controller of the device. The application execution environment may include an operating system, and the operating system may control resources within the application execution environment. Additionally, the security controller may be outside the application execution environment, enabling components of the security controller to be secured from components of the operating system. Further, the method may include the security controller in enabling a digital content protection scheme for the media application to provide digital content to a digital content protection enabled transmitter within the application execution environment for provision to a digital content protection enabled receiver.
