Abstract: A video stream from a user device that is destined for a recipient device is received at a core network of a wireless carrier network. The video stream has a video quality that at least meets a quality threshold for behavioral biometric analysis. A determination of whether a video privacy policy for the user device permits transmission of the video stream of the video quality to the recipient device is made. In response to the video privacy policy not permitting the transmission of the video stream of the video quality, the video quality of the video stream is downgraded to generate a downgraded video stream that prevents behavioral biometric analysis for transmission to the recipient device. However, in response to the video privacy policy permitting the transmission of the video stream of the video quality, the video stream of the video quality is transmitted to the recipient device.

Abstract: An Internet Layer end-to-end security connection (an Internet protocol (IP) encrypted tunnel) is established between a television receiving device and each player device on a home local area network (LAN) as part of the initial pairing process between each player device and the television receiving device. Traffic between the television receiving device and the player device is communicated via IP on the LAN, such that data between the two devices is securely encrypted at the Internet Layer, thus reducing potential security issues related to managing security and encryption at the application layer. This results in a secure virtual private network (VPN) between each player device and the television receiving device.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a data transmission method and apparatus. User equipment (UE) measures and transmits a transmission delay to a group communication service application server (GCS AS), or the GCS AS itself determines a transmission delay, so that the GCS AS may determine, according to the transmission delay, a time of sending a packet on a multicast path or a unicast path. Therefore, a problem of out of order of packets or a loss of a packet due to a transmission delay is resolved, and continuity of a communication service is maintained.

Abstract: A method for determining an identifier of a conditional access card used in a conditional access system, in which the conditional access card autonomously modulates the timing of data packets sent by the conditional access card, to form a timing sequence that corresponds to the identifier of the card. The sequence is generated by a predefined non-linear function stored on the conditional access card, and the predefined non-linear function depends on both the identifier of the conditional access card and a non-linear random sequence that is known to the conditional access card and a monitoring station that receives transmissions from the conditional access card.
