    摘要: One embodiment includes a display system for use on the exterior of a vehicle having a display, a vehicle speed sensor, and a processor coupled to the vehicle speed sensor. The processor is configured to implement one of three operational modes of the display system based on the speed and state of the vehicle: a first operational mode, wherein a first content, including identification and/or registration information of the vehicle is rendered on the display at a first power consumption level; a second operational mode, wherein a second content, including a message, identification and/or registration information of the vehicle, is rendered on the display; and a third operational mode, wherein content is rendered on the display at a second power consumption level less than the first power consumption level.

The automated system provides informational control of all items in the system. The automated will call monitors the length of time an item remains in the system, and into which location an item is placed. An article sensor provides absolute confirmation that an item has been placed or removed from a designated location in the storage unites. The automated will call system uses a controller to permit users to monitor and optimize the storage and retrieval procedures.

    摘要: The preferred embodiment of present invention is directed to an improved method and system for buffering incoming/unsolicited data received by a host computer that is connected to a network such as a storage area network. Specifically, in a host computer system in which the main memory of the host server maintains a I/O control block command ring, and which a connective port (e.g., a host bus adaptor) is operatively coupled to the main memory for handling I/O commands received by and transmitted from the host server, a host buffer queue (HBQ) is maintained for storing a series of buffer descriptors retrievable by the port for writing incoming/unsolicited data to specific address locations within the main memory. In an alternative embodiment of the present invention, multiple HBQs are maintained for storing buffer entries dedicated to different types and/or lengths of data, where each of the HBQ can be separately configured to contain a selection profile describing the specific type of data for which the HBQ is dedicated to service.

    摘要: One embodiment induces a display system for use on the exterior of a vehicle having a display, a vehicle speed sensor, a trigger device, and a processor coupled to the speed sensor and the trigger device. The trigger device is configured to identify a trigger event. The processor is configured to implement one of three operational modes of the display system based on the speed and state of the vehicle: a first operational mode when no trigger event is identified, the vehicle is on, and the vehicle is at a first speed; a second operational mode when no trigger event is identified and the vehicle is at a second speed different than the first speed; and a third operational mode when the trigger event is identified. The processor is further configured to render content on the display based upon the operational mode.
