    摘要: A novel perfluoropolyether derivative which is less likely to undergo decomposition, which is free from a problem of deterioration during its use, and which is useful as a lubricating oil or a coating agent, is provided. A compound represented by the following formula (1): HO—(CH2CH2O)r•(CH2CH(OH)CH2O)p—CH2CF2O(CF2CF2O)mCF2CH2O—(CH2CH(OH)CH2O)q•(CH2CH2O)s—H  Formula (1) wherein m represents an integer of from 3 to 200, and each of p, q, r and s which are independent of one another, represents an integer of from 0 to 100, provided that when each of p, q, r and s which are independent of one another, is an integer of at least 1, the arrangement of —(CH2CH2O)— and —(CH2CH(OH)CH2O)— units is not particularly limited, and when one of r and p is an integer of at least 2 and the other is an integer of at least 1, or when one of q and s is an integer of at least 2 and the other is an integer of at least 1, these units may be arranged in a block form or at random.

    摘要: A personal computer incorporated in a numerical control device (CNC) has a function for emulating a CNC display circuit. This personal computer emulates a CNC display circuit and converts a transmitted display command A into a video signal for transmission to display means. The numerical control device (CNC) incorporating this personal computer need not to provide a display circuit for each of the CNC body and the personal computer, and, moreover, a switching circuit for selectively receiving the video signals from two display circuits and transmitting selected signal to the display means is not required either. Furthermore, the personal computer has a function for emulating a data input/output circuit of CNC. The personal computer inputs or outputs data transmitted from the CNC or data to be transmitted to the CNC, from or to a data input/output circuit in the personal computer to or from an external input/output device, through an input/output data RAM. Therefore, it is not necessary to provide data input/output circuits for both the CNC body and the personal computer.

    摘要: A cathode-ray tube image recording device for recording images on a photosensitive thermal development recording medium which may have a reduced sensitivity due to time deterioration. An image of a density wedge is exposed and developed then sensed to determine the sensitivity of the recording medium. The sensing operation produces a density identification step number which is used to set one or both of the brightness and light emission time of the cathode-ray tube in accordance with a predetermined characteristic curve or function. A switchable resistor circuit or read-only memory may be used for applying the characteristic function.

    摘要: In an automatic gain control circuit, a peak detection circuit detects and outputs the peak voltage of an output signal from a variable gain circuit. An average value detection/output amplitude setting circuit detects the average value voltage of an output signal from the variable gain circuit, and outputs a calculated voltage. An amplification circuit controls the gain of the variable gain circuit by amplifying the difference between the output voltages of the peak detection circuit and average value detection/output amplitude setting circuit. The number of base-emitter junctions of transistors on a path in the peak detection circuit from input ports which receive output signals from the variable gain circuit to an output port which outputs a voltage to the amplification circuit is equal to the number of base-emitter junctions of transistors on a path in the average value detection/output amplitude setting circuit.
