    Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for rendering assistive chat during play of a video game. An example method includes tracking a gaze of a first player interacting with a scene of an environment of the video game. The method includes identifying a gaze focus of the first player. The gaze focus is toward a character in the scene. The character is associated with a second player. The method includes processing state data of the environment to identify an event occurring in the environment of the video game. The method includes surfacing an indicator to the first player that is suggestive of participating in a chat communication with the second player. The surfacing is configured to be triggered responsive to the gaze focus being toward the character and the identified event.

    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to controlling outcomes in a game that includes multiple different users playing respective roles of specific virtual characters. The multiple different users may be present at a same physical location, or the different users may be located at different physical locations when movement of their eyes is tracked. Here, a user may choose one of a set of provided selections by simply looking at the chosen selection for a period of time or by looking at the chosen selection and performing an action or gesture. This functionality allows multiple different users to control actions performed by different specific characters via an online multiplayer system. Depending on what a first user looks at, that first user or a second user may be provided with a corresponding set of selections or audio/visual content via respective gaming devices operated by the first and the second user.

    Abstract: A method of error logging includes: receiving from a user interface a first input from a user indicating that they have seen a visible error in a displayed graphical output of a computer application, tracking the gaze of the user to estimate the position, on at least a first display showing at least part of the displayed graphical output, at which the user's gaze is directed, receiving from the user interface a second input from the user indicating that they have identified the visible error with their gaze, capturing data relating to the displayed graphical output of the computer application, the data including a capture of at least part of the displayed graphical output including the identified visible error, and the estimated positon of the user's gaze with respect to the displayed graphical output, and generating an error report including the captured data.

    Abstract: Provided are an image generation apparatus, an image generation method, and a program for generating an image indicative of play status of a game in which two-dimensional objects representative of information to be offered to a viewing audience at the destination of delivery are clearly expressed. An image acquisition section acquires a game image indicative of the content to be displayed on a display device, the game image representing at least the play status of a game in which a virtual three-dimensional object placed in a virtual three-dimensional space is viewed from a point of view in the virtual three-dimensional space. The image acquisition section also acquires a delivery target two-dimensional image indicating a two-dimensional object targeted for delivery, the delivery target two-dimensional image having the same resolution as that of an image to be delivered. A resizing section resizes the game image to the resolution of the delivery target two-dimensional image so as to generate a resized game image. An image generation section generates an image that combines the resized game image with the delivery target two-dimensional image.

    Abstract: In a display controller, a standard information acquisition unit acquires at least one of a luminance characteristic and a color gamut of a standard display panel. A luminance information storage unit of an output adjustment unit stores a measurement value of a luminance characteristic of a panel of a displaying destination. A luminance range adjustment unit gradually adjusts a luminance range for an image to be a luminance range same as that of the standard display panel. A color gamut information storage unit stores a measurement value of a color gamut of the panel of the displaying destination. A color adjustment unit adjusts a pixel value of an image on the basis of the color gamut such that the image is displayed in a color same as that on the standard display panel.
