Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may drop a first one or more device-to-device coordination messages for transmission, of a set of device-to-device coordination messages, according to a message dropping criterion in connection with a quantity of device-to-device coordination messages in the set of device-to-device coordination messages exceeding a threshold. The UE may transmit a second one or more device-to-device coordination messages of the set of device-to-device coordination messages, such that a quantity of transmitted device-to-device coordination messages, of the set of device-to-device coordination messages, does not exceed the threshold. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A device (e.g., a base station or a user equipment (UE)) may identify a sequence length corresponding to a number of resource blocks, and select a modulation scheme based on the sequence length. The device may select, from a set of sequences associated with the modulation scheme, a sequence having the sequence length. In some examples, the set of sequences may include at least one of a set of time domain phase shift keying computer-generated sequences or a set of frequency domain phase shift keying computer-generated sequences. The device may generate a reference signal for a data transmission based on the sequence and transmit the reference signal within the number of resource blocks.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for identifying, from a resource pool allocated for sidelink communications between UEs, a first number of resources for transmissions from the first UE to a second UE based on a set of one or more parameters shared between the first UE and the second UE and identifying, from the resource pool, a second number of resources for transmissions from the second UE to the first UE based on the shared set of one or more parameters. The first UE may communicate with the second UE using the first and the second number of resources and avoid using the remaining available resources for power saving. For example, the first UE and the second UE may avoid sidelink communications on time slots on which no subchannels belong to either the first subset or second number of the resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station communicates with a UE via transmission reception points (TRPs). A UE receives, from a base station, control signaling identifying a set of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) configurations. The UE receives, from the base station, control signaling activating a first DMRS configuration and a second DMRS configuration. The UE receives an indication for the UE to use a first transmission mode of a set of transmission modes to communicate with multiple TRPs of the base station. The UE selects at least one of the first DMRS configuration or the second DMRS configuration based on the indicated first transmission mode and a pre-defined logical association. The UE then receives DMRS signals from the TRPs of the base station, according to the selected at least one of the first DMRS configuration or the second DMRS configuration.
