    摘要: A buss bar strip for mounting to a solar panel to electrically connect to a series of electrical lines extending from solar cells. The buss bar strip can include a thin elongate flat flexible strip of insulative material having a longitudinal length. A predetermined pattern of elongate conductors can be longitudinally disposed on the insulative strip in at least two rows along the longitudinal length and electrically isolated from each other. Each conductor can have a predetermined position, length, and spacing from each other on the insulative strip for laterally electrically connecting to selected electrical lines from the solar cells at lateral electrical connection points located along the length of the conductor on exposed surfaces on the conductor.

    摘要: A connecting lead wire is used for a solar battery module in which a plurality of solar battery cells connected in series by an inter-connector are arranged. The connecting lead wire is provided with a trunk portion and one or more branch portions. In the trunk portion, an enamel coating layer is provided on a conductor. In each of the branch portions, a solder plating layer is provided on a conductor. The branch portion protrudes from the trunk portion in a lateral direction, and connected to an electrode of each of the solar battery cells. The branch portion connects the solar battery cells with each other.

The connection region does not connect the bypass diode to the cell during reverse bias treatment of the cell and the bypass diode, while the connection region connects the bypass diode in antiparallel to at least one of the plurality of cells connected in series after the reverse bias treatment.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a converging type solar cell element able to restrain recombination of carriers and inflow of carriers into an embankment section and improve photoelectric conversion efficiency. A p.sup.+ diffusion layer 16 is formed on the surface of a sunlight receiving section 10 which is formed on a silicon substrate 12 comprising a p-type silicon. An energy gradient arises between the p.sup.+ diffusion layer 16 and the silicon substrate 12. Therefore, free electrons, which are minority carriers among the carriers generated in the silicon substrate 12 resulting from irradiation of sunlight to the sunlight receiving section 10, can be prevented from migrating to the surface side of the silicon substrate 12. Further, recombination of free electrons which may arise due to lattice defects of the surface can also be prevented. Still further, the p.sup.+ diffusion layer 16 may also be formed on a back surface side of the embankment section 14 which surrounds the sunlight receiving section 10. Due to operation of the aforementioned energy gradient, inflow of the free electrons, which are minority carriers, into the embankment section can be prevented.

The conductive foil is preferably provided on the non-light-receiving surface of the photovoltaic device, and comprises copper as a main ingredient. The conductive foil preferably has a thickness in the range of 70 .mu.m to 150 .mu.m and is provided along each of two side edges of the conductive base plate facing each other. The conductive base plate is a base plate made of stainless steel. In the photovoltaic device and a manufacture method thereof, the conductive foil and the conductive base plate are connected together by ultrasonic welding.

    摘要: An interconnect tab on each cell of a first set of circular solar cells connects that cell in series with an adjacent cell in the set. This set of cells is arranged in alternate columns and rows of an array and a second set of similar cells is arranged in the remaining alternate columns and rows of the array. Three interconnect tabs on each solar cell of the said second set are employed to connect the cells of the second set to one another, in series and to connect the cells of the second set to those of the first set in parallel. Some tabs (making parallel connections) connect the same surface regions of adjacent cells to one another and others (making series connections) connect a surface region of one cell to the opposite surface region of an adjacent cell; however, the tabs are so positioned that the array may be easily assembled by depositing the cells in a certain sequence and in proper orientation.

    摘要: A solar cell comprises a semiconductor body with a p-n-junction, a metallized area on the light receiving surface of the semiconductor body, a connection or contact area on the light receiving surface, a reflection reducing layer completely covering the metallized area and the connection or contact area and a further contact on the rear face. A metal connector is fixed to the connection or contact area by placing the connector against the reflection reducing layer and conductively connecting the connector to the connection area while concurrently eliminating the reflection reducing layer from that area.
