摘要: A method for joining a cable to a connector includes: providing an electrically conductive fusible conductor joining material which has a lower melting point than that of at least one inner conductor of the cable and/or at least one contact of the connector; bringing an end of the connector to an end of the cable such that at least one inner conductor of the cable and at least one contact of the connector are opposite one another and the fusible conductor joining material is present in between; and heating the cable and/or the connector from the outside such that the heat penetrates into an interior of the at least one heated cable or the connector so the fusible conductor joining material melts and electrically connects the at least one inner conductor of the cable and the contact of the connector to one another.

摘要: A wire splicing method including: disposing a tape-like first wire and a tape-like second wire in a holding base so that an end portion of the first wire and an end portion of the second wire face each other; disposing solder to straddle the first wire and the second wire; disposing a connection wire on the solder; pressing a heating body to the first wire, the second wire, and the connection wire via a pressing plate, and pressing together and heating the first wire, the second wire, and the connection wire so as to melt the solder; keeping the first wire, the second wire, and the connection wire pressed together by the pressing plate; separating the heating body from the pressing plate; and cooling the pressing plate to solidify the solder, and thereby connecting the first wire and the second wire together.

摘要: A wire connection device includes: a holding base which is provided with a wire accommodation groove having a width, the wire accommodation groove being configured to accommodate a plurality of wires; a pressing plate which is positioned above the holding base; a heating body which is positioned above the pressing plate and includes a heating member; a first driver which drives the holding base and the pressing plate away from or toward one another; and a second driver which drives the holding base and the heating body toward or away from one another, in which the pressing plate which is driven toward the holding base by the first driver presses together the plurality of wires accommodated in the wire accommodation groove with solder interposed therebetween.

摘要: A buss bar strip for mounting to a solar panel to electrically connect to a series of electrical lines extending from solar cells. The buss bar strip can include a thin elongate flat flexible strip of insulative material having a longitudinal length. A predetermined pattern of elongate conductors can be longitudinally disposed on the insulative strip in at least two rows along the longitudinal length and electrically isolated from each other. Each conductor can have a predetermined position, length, and spacing from each other on the insulative strip for laterally electrically connecting to selected electrical lines from the solar cells at lateral electrical connection points located along the length of the conductor on exposed surfaces on the conductor.

摘要: An electrical connector particularly adapted for use in a PCMCIA standard connector designed for increased performance, ease of manufacturing, and allowing the connector casing to contain a printed circuit board having larger components is presented. A grounding shield with a hallowed-out area is implemented in the connector casing to create more room for a PC board given the same amount of vertical clearance allowing componentry to be larger than would otherwise be possible. Further, the grounding shield has a soldering cup to allow better adhesion of the solder to the plated grounding shield and to allow the connector to be more easily manufactured. The buttons used to disengage the connector from its receptacle are extended outward from the connection to provide easier accessibility in limited space circumstances. Additionally, the casing and buttons have opposing angles in order to provide more convenient and sure grasping by the user. The latch assembly has an innovative nipple area that allows the connector to be securely but less rigidly connected to allow permitting the connector to withstand larger jolts or shocks without receiving damage. Finally, a retention clip on the housing prevents the latch assembly from becoming stuck or damaging the PCMCIA card or receptacle.

摘要: When forming molded resin on a terminal-equipped conductive wire, cases where resin inside the mold for insert-molding leaks out from the mold are suppressed. A smooth portion having a smooth outer circumferential surface is formed in a conductive wire of a terminal-equipped conductive wire (smooth portion formation step (S2)). Furthermore, a molded resin member that covers the terminal connection portion is formed in a state where the terminal connection portion provided is inserted into an insert-molding mold, and a portion of the conductive wire that extends from a metal terminal is exposed to the outside through an opening portion of the mold (insert-molding step (S3)). The outer shape of the smooth portion is a shape that corresponds to the opening shape of the opening portion of the mold. In the insert-molding step (S3), the interior of the mold is filled with a resin in a state where the inner circumferential surface of the opening portion of the mold is in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the smooth portion.

A rotary-electric-machine stator coil includes: a conductor 110 having a bonding portion 104 bonded to other conductors; and a bonding member 401 having a melting point lower than a melting point of the conductor, wherein a tip of the bonding portion has an alloy layer 402 formed of an alloy of the conductor and the bonding member, and a root of the bonding portion is electrically connected by the bonding member.
