摘要: The present teaching relates to surgical position marking. A 3D model for an organ includes cut points forming a surgical trajectory. Each cut point has a 3D coordinate and a surface norm in the model space. When projected into a workspace, a mapped cut point is created with a mapped 3D coordinate and a mapped surface norm in the workspace. With a surgical instrument with a tip and a force sensor attached thereto, some mapped cut points are marked along a direction determined based on a reaction force sensed by the force sensor when the tip touches the cut point.

摘要: Provided are a localization system and method useful in the acquisition and analysis of cardiac information. The localization system and method can be used with systems that perform cardiac mapping, diagnosis and treatment of cardiac abnormalities, as examples, and in the retrieval, processing, and interpretation of such types of information. The localization system and method use high impedance inputs, improved isolation, and relatively high drive currents for pairs of electrodes used to establish a multi-axis coordinate system. The axes can be rotated and scaled to improve localization.

摘要: The present disclosure provides an apparatus for determining a location of a wireless marker for a tumor, the apparatus comprising: a phased array antenna, and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to control the phased array antenna to transmit a wireless signal to the wireless marker, receive a wireless signal transmitted by the wireless marker in response to the transmitted wireless signal, and analyze the wireless signals transmitted and received by the phased array antenna to determine a location of the wireless marker. The present disclosure also provides a method for determining a location of a wireless marker for a tumor, wherein the method comprises: transmitting, using a phased antenna array, a wireless signal to the wireless marker, receiving, at the phased antenna array, a wireless signal transmitted by the wireless marker in response to the transmitted wireless signal, and analyzing the wireless signals transmitted and received by the phased array antenna to determine a location of the wireless marker.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a head tracking control system including at least one marker positioned on a head of a surgeon. The system further includes an infrared camera including at least two infrared sensors and that detects infrared light reflected off the at least one marker and sends a signal corresponding to the detected light to a processor, and that executes instructions on the processor to detect a movement of the at least one marker. The system also includes an intelligent tracking system that executes instructions on the processor to determine if the detected movement of the at least one marker corresponds to a defined head movement of the surgeon. The system further includes an ophthalmic surgical microscope including the processor. If the detected movement of the at least one marker corresponds to the defined head movement of the surgeon, the processor executes instructions to control the ophthalmic surgical microscope.

摘要: A system and method of variable velocity control of an instrument by a computer-assisted device includes a computer-assisted device that includes an actuator and one or more processors. To perform an operation with an instrument coupled to the computer-assisted device, the one or more processors are configured to set a velocity set point of the actuator to an initial velocity, monitor force or torque applied by the actuator to actuate the instrument, when the applied force or torque is above a first force or torque limit, determine whether a total duration of a set of pauses occurring during the operation of the instrument is below a maximum pause threshold, and in response to determining that the total duration is below the maximum pause threshold, pause the operation of the instrument.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a surgical robot system may include an end-effector element configured for controlled movement and positioning and tracking of surgical instruments and objects relative to an image of a patient's anatomical structure. In some embodiments the end-effector and instruments may be tracked by surgical robot system and displayed to a user. In some embodiments, tracking of a target anatomical structure and objects, both in a navigation space and an image space, may be provided by a dynamic reference base located at a position away from the target anatomical structure.

摘要: Methods and systems for combining ablation therapy with navigation of the ablation device. An ablation system may be configured for use with one of two methods to prevent loss of navigation signals during ablation energy delivery. In the first method, ablation energy signals are filtered from the navigation signal. In the second method, the delivery of ablation energy is sequenced with the delivery of navigation energy such that ablation energy and navigation energy are not delivered at the same time and navigation signals received by the system are time-division multiplexed to reconstruct the navigation signals and determine a location of the device within the patient.

摘要: Tracked mobile X-ray imaging equipment is used to produce single or stereo long calibrated views of the anatomy of a patient on the operating table. The system estimates the position and orientation of the anatomical planes, virtually places measurement grids over these reference planes, and transforms any radiographic views taking by the X-ray imaging system onto these calibrated planes. The system may apply information about the depth of the anatomy to remove parallax artifacts. This system enables displaying and evaluation of the entire radiographic length of the anatomical planes using a mobile X-ray equipment. It also provides a platform for overlaying the real time X-ray images taken during operation with radiographic images of the patient or schematic of the surgical plan developed before the surgery for quick evaluation of a surgical plan.
