    Abstract: Features of the present disclosure implementing techniques that allow the user equipment (UE) to autonomously (e.g., without the network control) manage timing synchronization of a plurality of carriers using sidelink synchronization signal (SLSS) from one or more other UEs in order to identify a synchronization source. A synchronization source associated with a frequency carrier from a set of frequency carriers may be selected according to one or more SLSS sync source selection techniques or rules. For instance, the described solution may be utilized to enable UEs to autonomously perform V2X carrier aggregation (CA). In some examples, the synchronization carrier(s) to be searched may be determined based on the SLSS capability of the UE (e.g., transmission and reception of SLSS capabilities of the UE).

    Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communication of a UE determines to transmit data in a set of RBs to at least one other UE in at least one subframe. The at least one subframe includes a first subset of symbols configured for use for transmission collision avoidance signaling and a second subset of symbols configured for transmitting the data. The apparatus determines a subset of symbols of the first set of symbols within the set of RBs of the at least one subframe for transmitting at least one concatenated sequence. The apparatus transmits the at least one concatenated sequence in each symbol of the determined subset of symbols within the set of RBs of the at least one subframe to indicate that the data will be transmitted in the second set of symbols within the set of RBs of the at least one subframe.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to sharing of sensor data among vehicles are provided. A first vehicle receives, from a second vehicle, first sensing information associated with a first object. The first vehicle detects sensor data associated with a second object. The first vehicle transmits second sensing information associated with the second object based on at least the sensor data, the first sensing information, and a transmission latency budget for the second sensing information. The first sensing information includes geographical location information of the first object. The second sensing information includes geographical location information of the second object.     Abstract: Various aspects related to selecting a resource selection procedure for V2V communications are described. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus for selecting a resource selection procedure for V2V transmissions, is described. The apparatus, e.g., a UE, may be configured to identify that recent sensing history information at the UE is unavailable for a sensing based resource selection procedure. The UE may be further configured to select, in response to identifying that the recent sensing history information is unavailable, a resource selection procedure based on configuration information obtained from a network entity. In various configurations, the UE may select a resource for a V2V transmission based on the resource selection procedure selected based on the configuration information.

    Abstract: Improvements may be made for the congestion control considering different technologies, types of radio resources, and priorities of different packets. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE determines an energy-based channel busy ratio (CBR) based on a number of probes on a set of radio resources having respective energy levels greater than an energy threshold.     Abstract: Improvement in co-existence of the LTE device-to-device communication with another device-to-device communication method is desired. The apparatus selects a countdown number within a size of a contention window including a plurality of slots before a target subframe. The apparatus determines whether each slot of the plurality of slots is idle or utilized while waiting for the target subframe. The apparatus counts down the countdown number during each of the determined idle slots.     Abstract: One problem with current D2D communications is that there is no physical layer feedback (e.g., HARQ feedback) for unicast sidelink communications. That is, the transmitting UE does not know if the receiving UE receives and/or properly decodes the unicast transmission. Instead, current D2D communications require that a transmitting UE send a unicast sidelink communication multiple times to increase the chances that the unicast sidelink communication is received by the receiving UE. By blindly transmitting unicast sidelink communications multiple times, the spectral efficiency and radio resource utilization of the network is decreased. The present disclosure provides a solution to this problem by enabling HARQ feedback for unicast sidelink communications that improves the spectral efficiency and also enables better radio resource utilization for the network.
