    摘要: This invention provides a universal respiratory equipment cap which can be used to effectively block a number of different medical devices used in the respiratory care units of hospitals, EMT vehicles and the like. The cap has a small end and a large end, each with “blocks” or “plugs” of different diameters. A middle section has a flange which is tapered, thereby allowing for the blocking of additional diameters of tubes and devices. The flange creates two cavities into which anti-bacterial pads can be inserted to further enhance the effectiveness of the device.

    摘要: An electronic cigarette includes a housing, a sleeve, an atomizer, a latch assembly and a control assembly. The sleeve includes a first limiting position and a second limiting position. The atomizer includes a mouthpiece. The atomizer is capable of being inserted into the sleeve and telescoping relative to the sleeve along an axial direction of the sleeve, so as to expose the mouthpiece or take out the atomizer from the sleeve. The latch assembly is arranged on an end of the atomizer opposite to the mouthpiece and configured to latch the atomizer in the sleeve when the atomizer is retracted into the sleeve and is positioned at the first limiting position. The control assembly is arranged on the sleeve and configured to unlock the latch assembly to allow the end of the atomizer to move to the second limiting position along the axial direction of the sleeve.

    摘要: An isolation chamber and disinfection system. The novel system includes an enclosure for providing a sturdy, lightless and soundproofed environment and for containing a solution for supporting a user in a state of floatation; a disinfection system for disinfecting the solution, the disinfection system including an ultraviolet disinfection system and an ozone injection system; and a pump for removing the solution from the enclosure and circulating it through the disinfection system at a predetermined flow rate. The enclosure is formed from interlocking, foam-insulated panels and lined with a potable liner that holds the solution. In relationship to the isolation chamber, in accordance with the present teachings, an improved method of disinfection is taught using UV radiation with ozone injection. Ozone has a short half-life and leaves substantially no toxic byproducts. Verification of disinfection can be accomplished by monitoring the dissolved ozone, which can be determined accurately utilizing a dissolved ozone sensor system.
