摘要: A fill nozzle is provided. An angled tube having a first end and a second end wherein a valve is connected at its first end, and its second end serves as the spray end of the fill nozzle. The valve has a fire hose connection connected to it wherein the fire hose connection has a first end capable of connection to a fire hose and a second end connected to the valve. The shape of the angled tube allows a single firefighter to place the spray end in a tank, open the valve, and fill the tank from ground level.

摘要: A liquid is efficiently suctioned and discharged from and to a container formed by a plurality of aligned storing portions for storing the liquid, using a plurality of nozzles. Provided is a liquid suction/discharge device including a container support device for supporting a culture container formed by a plurality of aligned storing portions, and a nozzle support device for supporting a plurality of nozzles in a state in which distal ends of the nozzles are directed downward. The nozzle support device includes a nozzle support member that swingably supports the plurality of nozzles using prescribed parts as support points, and the liquid suction/discharge device further includes a nozzle inclination device for causing each of the nozzles to be inclined with respect to the nozzle support member.

摘要: A fluid exchanger may exchange a fluid (e.g., coolant) in a reservoir (e.g., vehicle radiator) by removing or withdrawing a first fluid (e.g., old, spent, used, etc.) and by introducing a second fluid (e.g., new, clean, etc.). For example, the fluid exchanger may use a negative pressure, suction, or vacuum to draw the first fluid from the reservoir, and subsequently, the second fluid may be transferred into the reservoir using a negative pressure held in the reservoir, a positive pressure applied to the second fluid, or a combination thereof. The fluid exchanger may also include a multi-purpose, hand-held nozzle that can change an operation of the fluid exchanger from a withdrawing mode to a dispensing mode.

摘要: An additive injection system includes an additive injection controller operable to: (a) receive fuel data; (b) determine, from the fuel data, a total fuel amount corresponding to a total volume of fuel present in a fuel tank; (c) determine an untreated fuel amount corresponding to a delivered volume of untreated fuel delivered into the fuel tank, the untreated fuel amount determined based on the total fuel amount and a treated fuel amount corresponding to an expected volume of treated fuel expected to be present in the fuel tank; and (d) in response to determining that the untreated fuel amount exceeds an injection threshold, generate an injection signal to initiate injection of fuel additive into a fuel stream of untreated fuel being delivered into the fuel tank via the fuel tank inlet.

摘要: A fuel dispenser includes a power distribution system having an alternating current (AC) power supply and an AC to direct current (DC) power converter configured to convert a portion of the AC power to DC power for one or more DC peripheral components associated with the fuel dispenser. The power distribution system also includes processing circuitry configured to power down at least one of the DC peripheral components in response to an actuator, cause an indicator to be activated indicating that the DC peripheral components are de-energized and the AC power supply is active, power up the at least one direct current peripheral component in response to the actuator when the direct current peripherals are de-energized, and cause the indicator to be activated to indicate that both the DC peripheral components and the AC power supply are active.

摘要: A fluid management system includes a fluid management controller and a fluid dispenser. The controller authorizes control of the one or more fluid management components over a wireless interface. A dispensing meter can be activated by an authentication device. The fluid meter includes a cartridge valve with a valve cartridge and a valve stem. The cartridge valve guides the valve stem and provides the only sealing surface for the dynamic seals and control seal disposed on the valve stem. The handheld meter dispenses through a nozzle, which includes an overmolded stem tip that generates a laminar fluid flow as the fluid exits the nozzle. The handheld fluid meter includes circuitry configured to invert the orientation of a visual output provided by a display of the handheld fluid meter to facilitate installation of the handheld fluid meter for use in an oil bar application.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for apparatus used to detect clogs in a fluid delivery system during CMP processes and methods of detecting clogs in a fluid delivery system during CMP processes. In particular, embodiments herein provide a flow splitter manifold configured to enable monitoring of the pressure of the polishing fluid disposed therein. Monitoring the fluid pressure in the flow splitter manifold enables the detection of clogs in the delivery lines and/or dispense nozzles that inhibit and/or prevent the flow of polishing fluid therethrough or therefrom.

摘要: A fuel delivery system automatically selects one out of several available fuels for a vehicle having a specialized fuel filler neck. A dispenser pump assembly includes a pump base, a hose assembly and a nozzle assembly which includes a nozzle spout and a cylindrical collar member slidably mounted on the nozzle spout. A sensor on the nozzle assembly generates a signal, based on a position of the collar when the spout is fully inserted into a fuel filler neck of the vehicle. The signal is transmitted via wires, wireless signal, fiber-optic cables or other medium. An electronic controller in the pump base selects an appropriate fuel, based on the signal received from the sensor. If the available fuels include percentages of ethanol or other additives, a precision blending system ensures that the correct amount of additive is provided. Methods of selecting a fuel using the system hereof are also disclosed.

摘要: An apparatus for filling a chambered package can include a dispensing nozzle angled relative to a perpendicular of a machine direction of a carrying mechanism, the dispensing nozzle being disposed adjacent to the carrying mechanism having one or more chambered recess defined about a surface thereof, the dispensing nozzle being configured to dispense a quantity of the medium into the one or more chambered recess defined about the surface of the carrying mechanism. The apparatus includes a housing and at least one wiping material arranged to define an angle having a vertex toward the machine direction about a bottom surface of the housing, the angle of the at least one wiping material being configured to direct any of the quantity of the medium dispensed out of the second end of the dispensing nozzle, but not directed into the one or more chambered recess, into the one or more chambered recess.
