    摘要: A signal processor executes a plurality of microprograms to perform delaying processing and various arithmetic computation processings of digital signals input thereto. The signal processor has a storage area divided into a plurality of divided areas corresponding, respectively, to the microprograms. The write and read of the divided areas are controlled. When an instruction for changing at least one of the microprograms is given, the write and read of the digital signals are controlled such that at least one of the digital signals stored in at least one of the divided areas corresponds to the at least one microprogram is cleared without clearing the others of the digital signals stored in the others of the divided areas.

    摘要: A sound effect imparting apparatus, which is employed in the electronic musical instrument in order to impart a variety of sound effects to the musical tones in a variety of manners, is mainly configured by an effect program memory, a sound-effect operation portion, a mixer and a mixing information supply portion. The effect program memory stores a plurality of effect programs, respectively corresponding to a plurality of sound effects to be imparted to musical tone data, in advance. The sound-effect operation portion performs arithmetic operations and/or logical operations on its input data in accordance with the effect programs read from the effect program memory, thus imparting desired sound effects to the musical tone data. The mixer receives the musical tone data, given from an external device, and operation data, outputted from the sound-effect operation portion, representing the musical tone data to which the sound effects have been imparted. Thus, the mixer selects some of the data inputted thereto in accordance with mixing information given from the mixing information supply portion, so that the selected data are mixed together; and consequently, mixed data are supplied to the sound-effect operation portion. On the basis of the mixed data outputted from the mixer, the musical tones to which several kinds of sound effects are imparted can be produced.

    摘要: A musical tone signal processor is included of a computation unit, a register, a controller and an interpolator, and imparts a variable acoustic effect to a musical tone signal. The computation unit repeatedly executes a cycle of computation steps applied to the musical tone signal, using a plurality of parameters so as to realize a desired acoustic effect. The register stores values of the respective parameters which are used individually in corresponding computation steps. The controller operates when a variation is requested in the acoustic effect for designating at least one registered parameter attributive to the requested variation so as to rewrite an old value of the designated parameter to a new value. The interpolator is responsive to the execution of the computation steps each cycle during a transient period of the variation for feeding synchronously to the computation unit an intermediate value of the designated parameter, which is interpolated progressively from the old value to the new value, to thereby ensure the smooth variation in the acoustic effect. The interpolator has a multiple of interpolation channels. A multiple of concurrently designated parameters can be assigned freely to the respective interpolation channels so as to carry out parallel interpolation of the designated parameters.

The operation mode control circuit supplies a calculation designating data. The interpolating circuit calculates regenerated sample data on the basis of basic sample data and phase data. Wherein, the method of the interpolation which is performed by the interpolating circuit is altered in response to calculation designating data. Thus, waveform can be regenerated accurately and with high fidelity over a wide range of pitches.

    摘要: A musical tone generating apparatus is provided for an electronic musical instrument. The apparatus comprises a musical tone signal generating device and a parameter controller. The musical tone signal generating device generates a musical tone signal characterized by a tone parameter whose value is supplied from the parameter controller. The parameter controller comprises a target value generator and an interpolation device, which operate independently. The target value generator generates a target value of the tone parameter to the interpolation device, and the interpolation device interpolates between a present value of the tone parameter and the target value, so that the present value is renewed consecutively. The interpolation device generates an interrupt signal to the target value generator when the present value reaches the target value, so that an operation of the target value generator is interrupted then the target value generator operates to generate a new target value to the interpolation device in response to the interrupt signal. The parameter controller changes a characteristic of the musical tone signal such as a frequency characteristic or amplitude with respect to a lapse of time based on the present value of the tone parameter.

    摘要: A record and reproduction controlling device is connected to a hard disk memory via a bus. This controlling device receives from a computer information necessary for read/write operation, on the basis of which the controlling device performs its own process to write to or read from the hard disk. The record and reproduction controlling device temporarily stores tone data read out from the hard disk memory into a first buffer memory and then transfers the tone data from the first buffer memory to a second buffer memory. The tone data thus stored in the second memory is then read out at a predetermined readout rate to reproduce a musical sound. It is possible to select either a first reproduction mode for reproducing a data file having tone data of plural channels recorded in an interleaved state, or a second reproduction mode for permitting a simultaneous reproduction of plural data files each having not-interleaved tone data recorded therein. The controlling device controls the tone data transfer from the first buffer memory to the second buffer memory depending on which of the reproduction modes is employed.
