摘要: A driving assistance device includes a recognition unit, a region setting unit, a travel setting unit, and a travel control unit. Based on the relative speed of a vehicle with respect to an object recognized by the recognition unit, the region setting unit sets a prohibited travel region where the vehicle is prohibited from entering around the object, and further sets a region of a travel path that excludes the prohibited travel region as a permitted travel region where the vehicle is to travel. The travel setting unit sets at least one of a target vehicle speed and a target travel trajectory of the vehicle that is to travel in the permitted travel region set by the region setting unit.

摘要: An evacuation driving assistance apparatus capable of evacuation driving toward an appropriate evacuation location is provided. In the evacuation driving assistance apparatus, a driver determination unit determines whether or not a driver of an own vehicle is in a normal-driving enabled state. If it is determined by the driver determination unit that the driver of the own vehicle is in a normal-driving disabled state, a notification unit provides a notification of location information of the own vehicle to a center. The center is capable of determining an evacuation location based on the location information of the own vehicle, and transmitting the evacuation location. A reception unit receives the evacuation location transmitted by the center. An evacuation driving execution unit executes evacuation driving toward the evacuation location received by the reception unit.

The vehicle control apparatus acquires passing suitability information indicating whether or not the own vehicle is able to pass the preceding vehicle. When the own vehicle is not able to pass the preceding vehicle, the vehicle control apparatus corrects the inter-vehicle distance by adding a correction distance to a reference distance.

摘要: A retreat traveling assist apparatus is provided with a state detecting module, a traveling command module, and a body command module. The state detecting module detects a state in which a driver of the vehicle cannot drive the vehicle properly (hereinafter referred to as driving-impossible state). The traveling command module activates a retreat travelling deceleration control to stop the vehicle in a refuge place surrounding the vehicle, when the state detecting module detects the driving-impossible state. The body command module activates a pretensioner control to tighten a seatbelt of a driver's seat in the vehicle, in response to an activation of the retreat traveling deceleration control activated by the traveling command module.

摘要: A controller includes a SOC prediction unit to predict a SOC, based on a predicted result of a road grade and a vehicle speed in a scheduled travel route, and a discharge control unit to execute a discharge increasing control to previously increase a discharge quantity of the battery to prevent the battery from becoming in a saturation state based on a predicted SOC, when the battery becomes in the saturation state. The discharge control unit includes a first mode to execute an assist discharge increasing control in an assist travel, and a second mode to execute an EV discharge increasing control by decreasing the vehicle speed and by increasing an opportunity of an EV travel, as the discharge increasing control. When the EV discharge increasing control can be executed, the EV discharge increasing control is executed with priority relative to the assist discharge increasing control.

The speed controller is configured to execute burn-and-coast control that repeatedly executes burn control in which the vehicle is accelerated by driving force of the internal combustion engine, and coasting control in which the vehicle is driven by inertia, by stopping the generation of the driving force or rotation of the internal combustion engine. The speed controller is configured to execute emission suppression control that suppresses emissions by adjusting the burn-and-coast control when the emission deterioration state of the internal combustion engine is determined by the determination part.

The first travelling-condition parameter shows one or more conditions under which the target vehicle is travelling on the road. A second obtainer obtains a second travelling-condition parameter of a preceding vehicle travelling on the road immediately ahead of the target vehicle. The second travelling-condition parameter shows one or more conditions under which the preceding vehicle is travelling on the road. A deviation calculator calculates a deviation between the first and second travelling-condition parameters. A behavior determiner determines a recommended behavior of the target vehicle in response to the calculated deviation. A controller controls a device, which is associated with a behavior of the target vehicle, according to the recommended behavior.

摘要: A planetary gear device is provided between a driving wheel and an energy accumulating device. A sun gear of the planetary gear device is connected to an input shaft of the energy accumulating device. A carrier of the planetary gear device is connected to the driving wheel. A torque adjusting device is connected to a ring gear of the planetary gear device. When a regeneration control is not carried out, the torque adjusting device is controlled by a control unit, so that a braking torque generated at the torque adjusting device and applied to the ring gear is controlled in order to make a difference of a rotational speed at a smaller value between the input shaft and the sun gear.

摘要: A vehicle control device that includes a search unit that searches, based on geographic information to be supplied from a navigation device, for a deceleration start position before a downhill that is suited to regeneration by a motor; and a charge level control unit that performs, when a vehicle reaches the deceleration start position, deceleration control for reducing a charge level of a battery by reducing a vehicle speed. When the charge level control unit performs the deceleration control, the vehicle speed is reduced by reducing a driving force of the vehicle to a level at which only motor output is used as the driving force.
