    摘要: An electric device comprises a first and second voltage sensor, a current sensor, an actuator and a controller. The first voltage sensor senses a first voltage at a first contact of a switch inside the electric device and generates a first voltage signal indicating the first voltage, the first contact of the switch coupled to a source line. The second voltage sensor senses a second voltage at a second contact of the switch and generates a second voltage signal indicating the second voltage, the second contact is coupled to a reactive component. The current sensor senses a current at the second contact of the switch and generates an output signal indicating the current. The controller is coupled to the voltage sensors, the current sensor and the actuator and causes, based on at least one of the voltage and current signals, the actuator to actuate one of the contacts to execute switching at a predetermined point of the first voltage.

    摘要: A switch assembly including a switch and a high impedance element used for energy harvesting purposes that are connected to a power line and assembly electronics. The high impedance element has higher impedance than the switch so that current flows through the switch from the power line when the switch is closed and through the high impedance element from the power line when the switch is open. The switch assembly also includes a current sensing device, such as a current sensing resistor, electrically coupled in series with the high impedance element and the electronics. By measuring the current flow using the current sensing device, it is possible to infer the voltage across the high impedance element since its impedance is known. This voltage can be used to provide point on wave closing of the switch and to determine the line voltage magnitude.

    摘要: An interruption switch is provided for interrupting high currents at high voltages, with a casing, which surrounds a contact unit defining the current path through the interruption switch which has a first and second connection contact and a separation region. The contact unit is formed such that a current can be supplied to it via the first connection contact and can be discharged therefrom via the second connection contact, or vice versa. The separation region is formed such that, when it is separated, the current path between the first connection contact and the second connection contact is interrupted. The separation region is arranged inside a reaction chamber. A coating with a reactive material is present in the reaction chamber. The reactive material is designed such that under the influence of an electric arc it attenuates or extinguishes the electric arc.
