摘要: A removable lens for glasses includes an electrochromic layer adapted to transition between at least two states of a transparency level dependent on an electrical condition applied to the electrochromatic layer and an electrical connection element physically adapted to make an electrical connection with the electrochromic layer, wherein the electrical connection element is positioned to align with a variable-power electrode mounted on the glasses such that, when the removable lens is mounted on the glasses, the variable-power electrode and the electrical connection element make the electrical connection between the variable-power electrode and an electrically conductive layer of the electrochromic layer.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a hybrid conductive ink including: silver nanoparticles and eutectic low melting point alloy particles, wherein a weight ratio of the eutectic low melting point alloy particles and the silver nanoparticles ranges from 1:20 to 1:5. Also provided herein are methods of forming an interconnect including a) depositing a hybrid conductive ink on a conductive element positioned on a substrate, wherein the hybrid conductive ink comprises silver nanoparticles and eutectic low melting point alloy particles, the eutectic low melting point alloy particles and the silver nanoparticles being in a weight ratio from about 1:20 to about 1:5; b) placing an electronic component onto the hybrid conductive ink; c) heating the substrate, conductive element, hybrid conductive ink and electronic component to a temperature sufficient i) to anneal the silver nanoparticles in the hybrid conductive ink and ii) to melt the low melting point eutectic alloy particles, wherein the melted low melting point eutectic alloy flows to occupy spaces between the annealed silver nanoparticles, d) allowing the melted low melting point eutectic alloy of the hybrid conductive ink to harden and fuse to the electronic component and the conductive element, thereby forming an interconnect. Electrical circuits including conductive traces and, optionally, interconnects formed with the hybrid conductive ink are also provided.

摘要: This disclosure relates to a display substrate. The display substrate includes: a backplate, and a light-emitting device and a thin film encapsulation layer which are successively formed on the backplate, wherein the backplate includes a display area, the display area includes a plurality of pixel areas arranged in an array; the display substrate further includes an electrochromic unit arranged on a side, away from the backplate, of the thin film encapsulation layer, wherein the electrochromic unit includes at least a first area, and projection of the first area onto the backplate covers the pixel areas; the electrochromic unit is in a transparent state when the light-emitting device emits light, and the electrochromic unit is in a black state when the light-emitting device does not emit light. This disclosure also relates to a display apparatus and a display substrate manufacture method.

摘要: Aspects of this disclosure concern controllers and control methods for applying a drive voltage to bus bars of optically switchable devices such as electrochromic devices. Such devices are often provided on windows such as architectural glass. In certain embodiments, the applied drive voltage is controlled in a manner that efficiently drives an optical transition over the entire surface of the electrochromic device. The drive voltage is controlled to account for differences in effective voltage experienced in regions between the bus bars and regions proximate the bus bars. Regions near the bus bars experience the highest effective voltage.

The frame structure may include a plurality of horizontal frame elements, a plurality of vertical frame elements, and an energy distribution system including an elongated conductive bar at least partially positionable within at least one of the horizontal frame elements or at least one of the vertical frame elements. The system may include one or more access elements positionable to engage the elongated conductive bar to receive electricity or a data signal from the elongated conductive bar. The frame structure may support infills that connect to the elongated conductive bar and use or produce electricity.

摘要: Onboard EC window controllers are described. The controllers are configured in close proximity to the EC window, for example, within the IGU. The controller may be part of a window assembly, which includes an IGU having one or more EC panes, and thus does not have to be matched with the EC window, and installed, in the field. The window controllers described herein have a number of advantages because they are matched to the IGU containing one or more EC devices and their proximity to the EC panes of the window overcomes a number of problems associated with conventional controller configurations. Also described are self-meshing networks for electrochromic windows.

摘要: The present invention discloses an inorganic multi-color transmission electrochromic film, coated glass and a design method. The coated glass comprises a glass substrate and the inorganic multi-color transmission electrochromic film stacked in sequence. The inorganic multi-color transmission electrochromic film comprises a dielectric layer (optionally added), a current collecting interference layer, a sacrificial layer, an electrochromic layer, and an electron blocking layer (optionally added) stacked in sequence. With the help of thin film optics principle to design transmittance and color coordinates, optimize the material selection and thickness parameters of each film layer, and further use large-area coating technology to prepare a multilayer film structure on a clean flat glass substrate, and finally a large-area coated glass product with multi-color transmission color and electro-control effect is obtained.

摘要: Thin-film devices, for example electrochromic devices for windows, and methods of manufacturing are described. Particular focus is given to methods of patterning optical devices. Various edge deletion and isolation scribes are performed, for example, to ensure the optical device has appropriate isolation from any edge defects. Methods described herein apply to any thin-film device having one or more material layers sandwiched between two thin film electrical conductor layers. The described methods create novel optical device configurations.
