    摘要: A single-cylinder engine includes a cylinder and a cylinder head stacked on an upper portion of a crankcase, and an electronically controlled throttle interposed in an intake passage behind the cylinder head. The vehicle body frame includes a pair of main frames extending rearward from a head pipe, and rear portions of the pair of main frames form a pair of body frames bent downward behind the cylinder head. The electronically controlled throttle includes a throttle valve provided in the intake passage and an actuator that opens and closes the throttle valve. In a side view, an upper edge of the actuator is along a lower edge of the suspension bracket, and a rear edge of the actuator is along front edges of the body frames.

    摘要: This patent discloses one cylinder axial internal combustion engine having Scotch-Yoke based two phase fuel compression system. Scotch-Yoke actuator employed here is a specially modeled Multi Purpose Multi H-Slot double action Scotch-Yoke Actuator. Each H-slot is quad-laterally operated by a special mechanism. It performs suction and compression in ignition chamber and auxiliary compression chamber via two piston plates one in each chamber and transfers compressed fuel-air mixture from auxiliary compression chamber to ignition chamber through yoke rod. Flywheel is coaxially mounted on the outward side of the auxiliary compression chamber.

    摘要: An engine is configured so that a muffler is affixed to the exhaust opening of the cylinder, and the air-cooled cylinder is cooled by a cooling fan. The engine is provided with a muffler cover for covering the muffler, and exhaust gas is discharged inside the muffler cover along the wall surface of the muffler. A second cooling air is combined with the exhaust gas flow from the upstream side thereof to be parallel thereto, and a first cooling air having been caused to flow under the muffler is caused to perpendicularly impinge against the exhaust gas flow on the downstream side thereof. Thus, the cooling airs are combined inside the muffler cover with the exhaust gas flow, and as a result the temperature of the exhaust gas is sufficiently reduced at the time when the exhaust gas is discharged from the opening of the muffler cover to the outside.

    摘要: In a water-cooled inner combustion engine (1), in particular for equipping scooters and motorcycles, the arrangement of the outer cooling tubes connected to a radiator is simplified by arranging a by-pass valve (27), arranged directly on the engine block (2) at a discharge opening (18) obtained therein, which, when the cooling water is lower than a reference temperature, prevents the water circulation in the radiator (18) and it addresses it through a by-pass line (26) by implementing a cooling circuit wholly included in the engine block (2).
