摘要: A fan with airfoil blades is provided for a regenerative air vacuum street sweeper. The blades are formed using cut and pressed upper and lower panels which are welded at a forward edge to a rod to form the airfoil leading edge and welded at the rear edges to form the airfoil trailing edge. Pins extend laterally outwardly from the rod for mounting each blade in corresponding holes in the front and rear plates of the fan housing. The side edges of the blade are welded to the plates at a 9-11° angle of attack. The airfoil blades allow for reduced size, horse power, noise, and manufacturing and shipping costs.

摘要: A hydraulic implement, which may be configured for attachment to a hydraulic system having a pressure line and a return line, may include a motor, an anti-cavitation valve, and an adjustable flow control valve. The motor may be operably connected between the pressure line and the return line and to rotate a shaft when hydraulic fluid flows from the pressure line through the motor to the return line. The anti-cavitation valve may be connected in parallel across the motor between the pressure line and the return line. The adjustable flow control valve may be connected in parallel across the motor between the pressure line and the return line. A method may include causing fluid to flow from the pressure line through an open adjustable flow control valve to the return line; and at least partially closing the valve to divert at least some fluid flow through the motor.

摘要: A system and method for disabling the travel of a vacuum truck is provided in which a vacuum boom initiates an interlock signal when positioned back into a travel cradle. An additional positional tank bed further includes an interlock signal when the bed is in a secured in a travel position. The vacuum truck is prevented from having its brakes released or prevented from being put into a travel gear if either the truck bed or vacuum boom are not in secure travel positions. The present system and method utilize pneumatic operating signals available from the vehicles power take off and blower mode switch.

摘要: A guidance vehicle guides a dog for a walk, and includes a leash attachment, a distance sensor, and an electronic control unit. The leash attachment is configured to attach a leash that connects the dog. The distance sensor is configured to detect a dog-to-vehicle distance being a distance between the dog and the guidance vehicle. The electronic control unit is configured to execute a travel control of the guidance vehicle. The electronic control unit includes, as one of modes of the travel control, a walk guidance mode that causes the guidance vehicle to automatically travel along a walk route while guiding the dog to walk. The walk guidance mode executed by the electronic control unit includes a basic walk mode that controls the dog-to-vehicle distance so as to maintain a constant distance when the dog is moving along the walk route.

摘要: A vacuum and container assembly is provided for collecting and disposing of dog poop. The vacuum includes a housing with an inlet tube or nozzle. The container assembly includes an outer sleeve and an inner flexible, air permeable bag. The sleeve is open at the rear end so as to fit over the vacuum nozzle, with the bag residing in the nozzle. The front end of the container assembly is temporary closed by flexible fingers. When the vacuum is turned on, the dog poop is suctioned past the fingers into the bag, without touching the vacuum housing or nozzle. The container assembly can then be removed from the nozzle and deposited in a waste receptacle for disposal.
