    摘要: A pick-up head system for use with a surface cleaning vehicle comprises a housing, forward debris passage having a bottom opening, and a rearward debris passage having a bottom opening. A divider separates the forward debris passage and the rearward debris passage. A debris outlet supplies a flow of high speed air a selected one of the forward debris passage and the rearward debris passage. An air supply inlet is in the other one of the forward debris passage and the rearward debris passage. A debris passing opening between the forward debris passage and the rearward debris passage permits the flow of air and debris from one to the other. High speed air flows through the air supply inlet into the forward debris passage and the rearward debris passage, as connected by the debris passing opening, to thereby clean the surface, and egresses through the debris outlet.

    摘要: A gutter broom assembly for a street sweeper and method of use are disclosed. The invention relates to street sweeper having a vacuum system for moving air through a portion thereof and having a gutter broom assembly. The gutter broom assembly includes housing, a gutter broom being movable between an operational orientation and a transport orientation relative to the housing, and a skirt assembly attached to the housing. A sweeping chamber is defined within the housing and the skirt assembly which substantially encloses the gutter broom. A vacuum connection between the sweeping chamber and the vacuum system is provided for removing dust within the sweeping chamber when the gutter broom frame is in its operational orientation.

    摘要: A street sweeper with vacuumized dust control where a rotary broom chamber surrounds a rotary broom. The rotary broom chamber connects by a conveyor housing containing a conveyor mechanism to a hopper having a powered fan and a filter. A vacuum or low pressure is created within the hopper which communicates through the conveyor housing to the rotary broom chamber which creates an airflow therebetween which carries dust or other light debris to a filter which filters out the dust particles or other light debris. The conveyor housing and other components are positionable to accommodate various modes of operation.
